Jodie lay flat on her bed squinting her eyes tight. Both arms held the ends of her pillows over her ears in vain. She could still hear them. The screams and shout made goosbumps rides over her body and cause bile to rise in her throat. It was four o'clock in the morning and they showed no signs of stopping. Jodie gave up and ambled over to her to stereo. For weeks she had been contemplating this solution. In her mind, if they had the indecency to wake her, then she had the right to let them know she could hear. Jodie already had the perfect CD picked out. Reneehated this song with a passion. 1
The first bass notes of Rammstien bellowed from the speakers causing Jodie to step back a few inches. The German word marinated over her goosebumps calming her. The teen sat in front of her door staring intently at the dark outline waitng. Come on I knw you can hear this. she prayed. Three songs later, still no one came. This discouaraged her. The plan hadn't accounted for this. What if they didn't care? What if it only encouraged...Jodie immeditly hopped up and turned down her stereo. She couldn't hear any more moaning. 2
"Thank God." Jodie left the music on and cawled over her footboard back into her bed. Streams of sunlight were begingin to creep into her room and the ambience down the hall was gone. Jodie scrunched into a ball trying to block images. At least I didn't see anything..that woulkd have been way worse! Resnuggling with her teddy, Jodie drifted into sleep.3
It was seven when Jodie woke up again. Painful half memories of the early morning accompanied bruises on her lgs. THe girl surveyed her calves then remembered climbing into bed over the spikes and edges of her footboard. She groaned and slowly made her way to the shower.4
The cool mint shades of the tiles that lined the sunken bath promise rest nd relaxation. It alwayed did. Unlike the rest of the house, excluding her room, the bathroom was completely Jodie's domain. It was the only remnat of her mother's orignial designing plans. The plans that had been stopped when Renee came into the picture.5
Sean Rai had been insistant that the tutor have a vacational feel. She had wanted it to be luxurious but affordable so that the family would never bore of their surroundings. For instance, the bathroom's floor was title sandy clay. Its walls were warm stucco, while the bath was made of teal, blue and seafoam glass. With a shower head that sprouted rain drops on the skin, it was a beach oasis. The majority of the old tutor had this carefee feel, that is until renee married Jodie's father.6
The New england make-up artist had taken one look at the future plans of the home and put her thumbs down. any and all rooms that hadn't been paid for wee redesigned. In place of the comfortable vaction home, the Rai residence bacame a modern glass house. Sofisticated and steel made up every fixture and funiture piece on the houses two levels. Jodie had mutely watched as her mother's dream become cold and distant. Like a dream defered, Jodie was unable to ever get over her stepmother's changes.7
Jodie climbed down into the hot steam of her shower. As much as she wanted to soak, the girl had no time. the teen had to be on her bike and on her way to school at seven forty . But as alwasy the steady pressure of the shower head proved to be theraputic. By the time she shut the water off, she could feel the corners of her mouth turn slightly up. Pulling her Pepe le pue towel from its stand, Jodie ascended from the basin to main level. As she waited for the fog to evaporate, she perform the basics of brushed her teeth and oiling her scalp. 8
When the mirror was clear, Jodie studied her face. With a meticulous demeanor, she parted and detangled her unruly curls as she sung,
Alouette, gentille Alouette
Alouette, je te plumerai
Je te plumerai la tête
Et la tête, Alouette9
Jodie went through three verses before her head began to resemble hum,an hair. And in three steps she easily swept her locks into a tight bun. With that finished, Jodie focus on making her features as fierce as possible. Then teen glared into the mirror and hissed. Grey scale eyeshadow and liquid eyeliner hightened her stare. Jodie pined her eyeborws to her eyelids as her copper orbs stared back and she wondered if skipping was an option. But the oral paper in Lit and her meeting ith the headmaster confirmed it to be a no.

"Jodie lay flat on her bed squinted her eyes tight." I believe it should say "squinting" in order to go with the tense of the sentence, or if you want to keep squinted, you should make it "Jodie, laying flat on her bed, squinted her eyes tight."
Also "She could still here them." should say "hear them."
Not bad though, aside from those two big points and some typos. Keep up the good work.
