The sound of water echoed throughout the parking garage. A pipe must have been broken on a level up, the water ran down the side of a column in between. Lights made a buzzing sound as they flickered on and off. Most did not even come on at all, so it was pretty dark. There was a few old, broken down, cars here and there. One car, however, had its lights on and was running.1
Morris Day walked slow, and calm, towards the car. The lights on the car turned off, but the car did not. The driver remained seated when the back two doors opened up. Out of the car stepped four people. Two of them look almost like T-Cops.2
The other two figures that stepped out of the car consisted of Kelly Valentine, and a man dressed with a top hat, an over coat, and body armor. He had sun glasses on, and was smoking a cigar.3
Morris gripped the briefcase that contained the money. As he walked, he felt his gun bounce a little against his chest. Laurance Braiser also had a case, most likely carrying the documents. Morris continued to walk towards Laurance.4
"Stop." Laurance commanded, so Morris stopped and stood in place, still gripping the case.5
"I take it your max, or can I call you Laurance Bra..."6
"Yes Yes." said Laurance interrupting, "And you are Morris Day, let's skip with the formalities."7
Morris looked at Kelly Valintine, she just continued to stare down. "I have the money, do you have the documents?" asked Morris in a sterner voice.8
"The funny thing about that is," Laurance replied as he smiled, "you have been out paid. It's not that your money is not good enough, it's just that someone paid me a shit load more to kill you."9
Morris stumbled back a little because of those words. He looked at Kelly who looked up in shock, she must not have been aware of this. Kelly sprung into action, now knowing Laurance's plan. She moved so quick that Morris couldn't catch it, (that being said, Morris has never seen her or Victor actually fight) and appeared behind one of Laurances body guards. 10
Kelly drew two knives, one which she used to stab the body guard in the side, letting him fall to the ground. The second knife she threw at an angle, which curved around Laurance, hitting the second guard in the chest. She quickly drew her gun to point at Laurance, but amidst the knife throwing, Laurance beet her to it.11
"You Vampiric bitch," Laurance shouted, "I had a feeling that someday you would turn on me. I just knew it, and to think it had to be today." Laurance walked around Kelly, leading her with his gun to stand next to Morris. "Now I will have to kill you both, well it's a good thing I came prepared for that."12
"Did you prepare for me?" a raspy voice asked behind Laurance.13
Laurance felt a cold chill go down his back as a blade touched his neck. Out of fear, he dropped his gun, and slowly turned around to see Victor Angel. Laurance stepped back, and started to turn in circles, looking at Morris and Kelly, and then back at Victor.14
"So this is how it is, you were going to kill me instead." he yelled with fear behind his voice. "No one can carry on my business like I did. I built an underground empire. Who will..."15
His rant was interrupted by the feeling of a blade in his heart. That feeling was followed by a voice.
"You held me back. You made me feel like I was alone in this world, and you fed off that. Well now you are alone." The words left Kelly's mouth and echoed through Laurance's head as he fell to the ground and accepted his death.16
Morris, Victor, and Kelly wasted no time once Laurance fell to his death. Kelly quickly went through her former boss' pockets, finding keys, and some money, as well as some passwords. They walked over to the car, but both Kelly and Morris were cautious, not knowing that Victor had already killed the driver. 17
Victor walked to the driver side door and pulled the dead driver out of the seat. Remembering how he walked along side the car while the driver was reading, and shooting him in the head right through the window with his silenced pistol made him smile. They got in the car and drove away from the scene.18
"We are going to Sector 103, in the western division." Morris said on the phone to Driefus. "Gather everyone you can and meet us there."19
"There will be some trouble when we get there." Kelly stated, looking up at the rear view mirror. She noticed Victor was looking at her. "There will be a few guards we might need to persuade to join your faction."20
"Or we can kill them." Victor added.21
"That may have to happen." Kelly replied.22
They drove for a while in silence. Victor focused on driving, while Kelly cleaned her blades. Morris was counting the money in the briefcase case one more time. Then he opened up the case Laurance had, but there it was empty. "Figures" Morris thought to himself.23
After about an hour they arrived at Laurance's house. It was big, and it was well guarded. There was a tall, 10 foot gate surrounding the property. Victor stopped a block down and they all got out. Morris would get in the driver seat to pose as the driver. victor hopped the fence and left them so he could sneak around the back.24
Morris drove to the entrance of the gate, and it opened, so he drove through. As they pulled up to the terrace, 2 guards came to open the back doors of the car. They were dead as soon as they did. Kelly had thrown a knife into one guard, while shooting the other in the head.25
Morris exited the car and hid on the driver side. Kelly exited as well and quickly ducked behind the car when she heard additional gun fire coming form the inside. Morris and her were startled as a body crashed through one of the windows and hit the ground. Silence fell throughout the mansion, and Victor came out the door.26
"Its all clear in here." he said with a smirk.27
Kelly laughed, and led them inside and to the artillery room. There they stood in amazement, staring at the hoard of weaponry, equipment, and T-Cop uniforms. So much stuff that would help out the faction immensely. Morris Day smiled, that of a little boy that got what he wanted at Christmas. 28
"We have 4 Till Inc. trucks out back, plus a tank as well." Kelly added to the excitement that flooded Morris.29
The others got there as well. Dreifus, Kel, and a few other faction members. They all also stood in amazement, "We are staring at our key to a brighter future," Morris thought to himself, "A future without Marcus Till."
