Of joys and pains2

Forevers slipped tongue3

One is what remained4

Two equals one doesn't compute5

Rational struggles with love6

Habits dying old, newly7

Wed from up above8

A bitter soul, heart9

With a whole, now sings10

A new man, recycled11

With only, the ring 12

I was re-married June 11th..yesterday
the transformation is much more than a circle of gold.

    Awww... congratulations are definitely in order then and I do wish you and your bride many years of happiness and strength and love that surpasses all the obstacles that life could ever toss in your pathway. Having said all of that... This is beautiful piece. A new man... recycled. I like that. That appeals to me so well because I think we all have those moments of being "recycled" or at least we should have. Not necessarily as far as marriage goes, but as human beings in general who are ever growing and ever changing and ever evolving as we live and learn from life's lessons.
