she's back again1
the shadow dweller2
crept behind me, bolted in3
never knew that she was coming4
otherwise would not have let her in5
stripped her clothes6
and stood there nude7
the beauty blinding, but image crude8
smoked a joint and sipped her drink9
swaying forth now on the brink10
she laughed, she giggled11
and fell to the floor12
picked up the stick, inhaled some more13
standing up she sauntered to the closet14
fumbled around and clutched at her purple silk robe15
managing to wrap it around herself16
she tied it in a sloppy bow17
hanging loose as her nipple showed18
twisting around she tripped and fell19
yet again20
a slight moan you could her as she cried inside herself21
hearing it faintly, every now and then22
on the floor of her room23
she would sing and roll around24
her family, all in the foyer25
didn't hear a sound26
staring at the ceiling27
laying there exposed 28
wondering where her life had gone29
and why it was that she didn't know?30
feeling confused it overwhelmed her fragile mind31
and she now became depressed32
some tears trickled down her rosy pink cheeks33
her body limp, and this at best34
covering up, weakly she stood35
to take another sip36
she threw away the joint, her room smelt of alcohol37
and still lingered on her lip38
lost and disheveled 39
she made it over to the dresser 40
prying the top drawer open with her fingernails41
her emotional strength, again, had failed42
she dug through now as thoroughly as she could43
groped at the scissors44
right next to a petal from a red rose he'd given her45
now dried up, dead, and withered46
like her soul47
hours went by, dusk until dawn48
and by the time they realized49
and broke down her door50
it was already too late, and she was gone51
weapon in hand52
she had cut through her wrist53
her final attempt54
and this time, she hadn't missed.55
blood stained white carpet56
her friends all cried57
and wished they'd have known58
but she'd said not a word, no signs had showed59
funeral day came60
everyone dressed in black61
kisses on her cheek were no use62
she wasn't coming back.63
next to her preciously pale body64
now to be known as her rotting corpse65
they buried with her a secret66
no one ever even knew the reason why..67
her spirit now was gone forever68
what had made her want to die?69
Author notes
started as a poem.. well i guess it still is, but so long its almost a story. it's about a side that no one sees and what happens in real life i guess.. you'll see, i think you'll like it.

Gopd work.
This reflects our society and how empty life can be without love.God is Love and Love is God.He must be our source and focus. No one or nothing should come before Him.If we surrender it all to Jesus and live for Him,He will make something beautiful out of the most prefectly stupid mess we might have made. -
great write! definitely a poem, it just tells a story. "a slight moan you could her as she cried inside herself" a little typo in that line, it's supposed to be hear as she cried im pretty sure. But i loved it from beginning to end. very intriuging and makes me ever so curious to know her secret. Maybe if the dead could talk she'd whisper it in my ear... i dont even know. well great write.

much appreciated
the fact that it is so long is why I controversed whether to classify it as story or not, as a story people know what to expect length wise. As always I enjoyed hearing what you have to say, thanks for respecting my request. <3 heather -
