A Life Well-lived

My goal in life is to gracefully grow old and be able to look back, without regret, knowing that I have lived in the moment, made the most of my opportunities, learned from the times of joy and sorrow, and helped my children become confident, openminded, compassionate people.

Author notes

An achievement that is pivotal in my life is having been priviledged to be able to bring new life to our world. Through them, I have learned great compassion for myself, my family and all those with whom I come in contact.

A beautiful goal, and a worthy one. My Grandmother was a graceful soul, an example I still strive to follow.
Remarkable, how children both expand and narrow our focus on what is vital. I have always found them to be the rocket boosters to my learning curve! You have set out thoughtful, valuable considerations in just a few lines.

This was a beautiful entry. Something I can completely agree to. I haven't exactly lived all that much yet...so I can't probably get it the way you do, but the idea sounds good.

Don't we all wish that we could help our children along to be the best that they can be? I also like that you list them as your achievement as well. Good job and thanks for the entry.
