The Library

1

I live quite a few blocks away down from this library, but it doesn't take long to get there by foot. It's a nice little place to read books, do some research, and buy whatever books they want to get rid of, I don't mind it, however. This one librarian is only the only thing that causes me to cringe. He is bald, with a pale complexion like Uncle Fester, and he has these purple veins trailing down along his face, as if Nosferatu had bit him---must be still in the mutation process. His fashion is a sight to behold, the clothes that he picks, always hugs his body---tightly, that you'd think he's wearing a second skin, and all we're waiting for, is him to shed it off. He gives me the creeps, but a nice fellow though; his eyes are the only things that send me running home, with a scream fest. They both are colored differently, one is green, and the other is blue, and you can always see him staring at you, glaringly with them, feeling it too as if he came from a "Tales From The Crypt" episode, it's almost sickening if you think about it long enough. So anyway, I like this one corner of the library that has all these books that I like to glance over and examine, soaking every word. Every time I'm there, I glance over and see him at the other end of the bookself aisle, in oppostion of you know who, staring at me, intensely, like he's going to suck my neck, desiring to drain my blood for every drop, while organizing the books on the shelves to be in order, and putting in the ones that were taken out. At this stage of the game, I'm sweating and hiding my face behind a book, ever so occasionally glancng to see if he's still there, or if he'd left, staring at some other individual and imagining sucking their necks. After every fright, I keep coming back for my classic macabre creepshow to see Uncle Fester meets "Tales From The Crypt", hoping maybe that he is a vampire with a deep blood lust, lingering to come and burst forth that needs to be filled by some victim, and all that's missing is the popcorn, plush seats, and a girl beside me enjoying it with me.2
