You know Adelaine, this contest is a very good idea, but I knew exactly what I would never let go of. If everything; my family, my friends, my home, were washed right of my hands, I would never let go of writing. Writing makes me happy, makes me calm... it soothes me, if everything else fails. Adelaine, writing makes me express the whole outside world, just typing on the computer when my life's minutes go by. But that doesn't bother me. It's being a character in my own story, being able to do things that I can't do in reality, and seeing things I wouldn't even be able to dream of. So there you have it. If everything, my whole life, was washed away from me, I would keep writing forever and ever.1

Wow. This is what I was looking for. I mean, I do not exactly agree with you...but you reasoned so well and I could feel your love and passion for writing is SO GREAT. I mean, why would you choose writing above all other things in the world, if not for your great love for it?
Anyway...you really hit the spot on this one:
