Valentine's Day for Sakura

Okay, so here I am, helping my mom at her bakery on Valentine's Day , like I always do, when I here the door bell “Ding”, letting us, the owners of the store that is, know that someone (Hopefully a costumer.) is coming in.2

But it wasn't a costumer this time.3

“Hi there; how may I help yo—oh, it's just you, Naruto.” I sigh as I see his face smiling back at me.4

The only reason why he comes here is 'cause for some reason he thinks we make—5

“You guys have any ramen? Beef ramen?” The blond asked as he always did when he came here. 6

“Naruto, I told you already that we don't make ramen here, or any other type of noodle thing for that matter.” I explained with a heavy sigh.7

“Oh yeah, that's right. Sorry Sakura, forgot.” Naruto laughed as his cheeks turned a little pink from embarrassment.8

“It's okay, Naruto, just....try to remember next time.” I told him.9

“Okay! See you later then Sakura!” He cheered as he gave a wave goodbye over his shoulder and ran out the door, hitting into my crush—I mean next costumer.10

“Oh, sorry Sasuke.” Naruto said still running.11

“Loser.” Was the words that came out of the taller boys lips.12

“Uh, h-hi; h-how my I h-h-help you?” I stuttered at the guy walking my way.13

Smooth Sakura, smooth.14

“Hey.” He smirked.15

My breath caught.16

“A cherry pie.” He stated more then asked.17

That's my favorite type of pie. 18

“Uh, okay, h-h—hold on please.” I said shacking, turning around and grabbing the sweet he wanted. 19

Since when did Sasuke Uchina like sweets? 21

I turn to make sure this was Sasuke, and not some other guy who looked like Sasuke, that is, when you're looking down at your feet the whole time anyway.22

The guy in front of me was smirking back.23

Yup. That's him alright.24

I look away blushing as I get the rest of his order in one of the cute little bags that my mom has custom made for her little shop.25

“H-h-h-here you go.” I stuttered once more as I handed over the food to him. “That will be $4:25 please.”26

He looks down to his back packet of his jeans and takes out his leather wallet with skulls and cross bones all over it.27

My eyes couldn't help but follow his movements until I relied that I was staring at his butt. So I looked away, but it was too late.28

“Are...you looking at my butt?” The Uchiha smirked.29

“N—no!” I yelled, getting my mom's weird look across the room.30

“...Whatever.” He shook it off, handing me the money, that I then put in the cash rester.31

“Thank you for buying H-H-H-Haruno Sweets; please come again!” I called out to him as he walked to the door.32

He stopped for a sec and looked over his shoulder, smirking back at me.33

“I will.” Is what he said before walking out of the building with a playful tone in his voice.34

I couldn't breathe.35

So yeah, here I am, at the Yamanaka Flower shop to buy flowers, roses that is, for all my friends; since it's still Valentine's Day and I'm done helping my mom at the bakery. And of course, Ino, my best friend, is bugging me to buy her the ones she wants.39

“Oh, that one's nice!” Ino pointed to a bright pink one beside a few roses I was picking at.40

“Ino....”41

“No,no, wait! That on is the best!” Ino was now pointing to a white one across the row from where I was picking still.42

“Ino.....!”43

“Oh whoa wait! That one is the-”44

“INO! STOP TELLING ME WHAT ONES TO PICK! GOSH!” I yelled at her, now standing strait up and not leaning over the roses anymore. “JUST 'CAUSE I'M NOT 'THAT' GOOD AT PICKING FLOWERS DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO BE YELLING IN MY EAR TO HELP ME!”45

I was breathing hard now, and seeing Sasuke walk into the shop didn't help me. 46

In. Anyway. What. So. Ever.47

My eyes must of widen 'cause now Ino was looking over her shoulder too, to see what I was staring at and asking, slowly;48

“....What's wrong?....Oh.”49

“Yeah.”50

We didn't talk for a minute.51

“Why don't you say 'Hi' to him?” Ino asked, a little pushy about it though.52

“No way; are you crazy?!” I whispered yelled at my best friend.53

“Fine, I will then.”54

“What?! N-”55

It was too late.56

“Hey Sasuke! What brings you here, heh?!” Ino yelled across the room.57

That wasn't the worst part though. Instead of showing that she said it, she pulled me in front of her and made it LOOK like I SAID it. Oh man, you could see my red face for miles!58

“Hey.” Sasuke smirked walking over to me and Ino.59

“Oh Sasuke! I didn't see you there!” Ino turned and smiled at Sasuke.60

Yeah right you didn't see him there! You're the one who freakin said that you--!61

“Sakura and I can help you pick the perfect rose for your love if you want!” Ino cheered more then asked.62

What. The. Heck?63

What in the world would make Sasuke say 'yes' to that Ino?! Nothing! That's it! N-O-T-H-I-N-64

“Sure.” His lips curled into a smirk seeing my face drop.65

“Great!” Ino cheered again. “But I have to go on a date with Shikamaru to eat noodles with him now, so, looks like it's all up to you, Sakura!” 67

Ino gave me a wink and then ran off into the back room, where the office was.68

My face was red with anger now. 69

Oh how I hate it when she does stuff like this too me.70

“Are....you okay?” Sasuke asked.71

I turned to look at him, blushing red and not with anger anymore.72

“Y—yeah.” I whispered as his smirk grow.73

“I want this one.” He pointed to the red one I've had my eye on for buying for myself the whole time I was here. It was beautiful. Like it was just made for me.74

“O-okay.” I said picking it out from the others. “H-h-here you go.” 75

He smirked even more, taking the rose from my hand. The closest thing I'll ever get to a 'thank you' from him. 76

“Thanks.” 77

Whoa, wait a sec. Did Sasuke Uchiha just say 'Thanks' to ME?!78

“Y-you're welcome.” I smiled weakly, my knees shaking from hearing the word that just came out of his mouth.79

Yeah, here I am at the ramen shop with Naruto here as my date for tonight, since, after all, who doesn't have a date on Valentine's Day?82

Hinata just walked in with Neji and Tenten, and I know for a fact that Naruto is now all over Hinata ever since I told him she has this big crush on him so he'd get off my back. Hey, can you blame me?84

But anyway, the only reason I'm here anyways was 'cause Naruto couldn't find Hinata so he asked me to come with him instead and, seeing since I didn't have a date or boyfriend like Ino, I said yes, but only as friends. He smiled and said “Deal.”85

Yes, I'm now having to deal with Naruto slapping up noodles in his mouth while talking to Hinata and not....me.86

Not that I really don't want them talking or him talking to me. It's just....really boring sitting here watching Naruto and Hinata and Neji and Tenten have a great time.87

And maybe, just a little, jealous?88

“Hi there; can I get you some ramen?” 89

Huh? I didn't even hear anyone come in. Who is this person?90

I froze, seeing Sasuke standing over my body.91

“Two bowls of beef ramen.” He commanded.92

“Okay; coming right up.” The owner smiled turning and starting to get the bowls ready.93

He sat down next to me then.94

“Hey.”95

“Uh, H-h-h-hi.”96

“You know?”97

“Um, yeah?”98

“That you stutter your H's a lot.”99

“Oh....” I whispered. 100

Great, he noticed. Kill me, please?101

“Here they are; enjoy.” The Owner smiled once again, sliding the bowls of noodles to Sasuke and me.102

“Um...this isn't mine, he ordered it.” I said weakly pointing over to Sasuke.103

“I ordered it for you, Sakura.” Sasuke stated.104

I looked at him weird.105

Since when did Sasuke Uchiha buy bowls of ramen for me?106

“And these are for you too.” He said holding out the cherry pie and red rose for me to take.107

Everyone looked over to see what he was giving me.108

I stopped breathing.109

Sasuke Uchiha bought me my favorite pie!111

Sasuke Uchiha bought me my favorite red rose out of the bunch there in the flower shop!112

Sasuke Uchiha bought me a bowl of ramen even!113

Have I told any of you that I love this guy yet? Well now I am.114

“S-Sasuke.....I d-don't know what to say.” I breathed, tears starting to fill up my eyes.116

He leaned in closer to me and said, in my ear, in the sweetest tone you can get from an Uchiha:117

“Say 'Happy Valentine's Day'.”118

I said it.119

He kissed me then, and, everything went away until that annoying blond had to say 'AWWWWWWW!' 120

I turned around and shot him a glare.121

“Shut up, Naruto.” I said between griding teeth.122

“O-okay.” He whispered. “S-sorry, Sakura.”123

I gave him a smile then a turn to face my love.124

“How did you know all about the stuff I like?” I asked him at last.125

“'Cause I love you.” He whispered in my ear before giving me another kiss.126

I stopped breathing again.127

“And....the fact that Ino told me everything about you had something to do with it too...”128

I looked at him as if he were died.129

“She did....WHAT?!”130

“Hey guys, what's up?”131

It was Ino with Shikamaru.132

Oh, was she going to get it.133

“INO!!!” I yelled standing up with fire in my eyes. “YOU'RE DIED!!!”134

I ran after her and the last thing I could hear was Shikamaru sighing, saying. “Valentine's Day is so troublesome.” 135
