    Oh this was great! I'm actually a singer/writer/composer myself and I've written a few things as well as done exactly what you've done and recorded myself. You are very talented, and when I read the lyrics, I found them a little bland, but when I listened to you sing, it changed my perspective completely. You have a lovely voice, and I encourage you to keep writing, composing, and singing! Good job and good luck!

      Hi!

      I'm very pleased that you like this song.

      Actually, I recorded this at Kimmy Pate's Studio in Dallas, TX. There are two guitar tracks, two vocal tracks, and the drum machine track.

      The lyrics are very simple, but have some depth to them. The lyrics in this particular song are probably the simplest of any I've written. The two part vocal harmony so far has been my only attempt at harmonizing.

      It's my best recorded guitar studio performance.

      Currently, I have only 41 songs on the internet, but I'm planning to add more soon. I've written about a hundred songs I believe have merit. Many I've co-written. Do you co-write?

      I've expanded my recording studio and I'm going to begin recording, producing, and publishing myself and others. I hope to list my publishing company with ASCAP.

      Some of the recordings are rather rough, only voice and guitar or keyboard. All of the songs are written or co-written by me.

      What kind of microphone do you have? Do you have any kind of recording equipment?

      If I had the song with background only, I'd send it to you. I do have some songs with background only if you'd like to record them with you as the vocalist.

        it's just a computer mic. hooks up through USB. the only recording software i have actually is my dell media center, but i can work with that and add background music. it'd be cool if you could send me some with background vocals and just music. you write great lyrics and i'm willing to listen to anything you want me to and give my feedback.

      It has been published through Lulu.com. I am the publisher and control all rights, publishing as well as writer's. I'm currently applying for Ascap membership as writer and publisher. You can perform it with no concern. If you record it, I'll join the Harry Fox Agency to handle mechanicals. As I am the publisher, you can also record it without concern. If you need to have written consent, I'll be happy to give it. If you choose to use it, no payment is necessary.
