Traiders of both sides (Part 1)

My gun was attached to my belt and my jeans were tight and tucked under my leather boots. My black sweater huggedmy figure and my hair was down. 1

My heart was rushing and my feet wouldn't stop. Moving gracefully thourhg the forest to ketch him. I would do it. I felt the addrenaline rush through me. My 5th assignment and I was ready. I haven't failed any other assignments. After all I am The Huntress. The one to put an end to all vampire race.To stop the killing and murdering of humans. 2

The trees flew by me as if they weren't there and finally I came to a clearing and there a vampire was. But instead of a women as usual it was a man. 3

His teeth were dug into a human and then he looked up and took a deep breath. The moon light shined on his pale skin. His blond hair was cut short and his bangs covered his eyes. He smiled not a pleasant smile and licked his lips. He put the man down and into the small lake that was by us. 4

I grabbed my gun and pointed it at him. He laughed at me, "You look sexy that way." He teased.5

"Shut up you bastard!" I yelled and my brown hair was moving in the wind.6

"Oh, I don't like that name." He told me and shook his head. Walking up and I shot. He fell and his skin was burning. Slowly he yelled and jumped at me. Twice I shot him and he ran. Taking his long claws and scraching me. Blood dripped down my cheek and he pinned me down. I shot one more time. This time his face. He gripped his face and screamed. 7

Quickly I jumped up. I pulled out my dagger from my boot. It was spiked with vampire piosion. Their own blood. Only vampire blood can kill another vampire. It had to be injected though. They could drink their own kind's blood but if it is injected into their heart then they die instantly. 8

I jammed my dagger into his heart and he fell down. Dead and quickly. I looked up to see another vampire in the trees. All I could see was long black hair and the back of his pale skin. Vampire men never wear shirts. But always jeans. I don't know why but the ones that drink human blood never wear a shirt. 9

His black eyes looked back at me and I saw a smirk on his beautiful face. I didn't understand why but he was so....God like. As if a God was standing right infront of me. 10

I looked around to see that the dead vampire body has turned to dust. Just like humans but instead of grey dust that humans turn into vampires were black dust that if any human touchs then their hands get burnt.11

When I looked back at the trees the man was gone. I didn't understand why he looked different from the vampire I just killed. This vampire had a crazy look and untamed. 12

I was even bleeding and still the vampire I saw seemed to have no effect. I walked home. I was out of breath and wanting to take a hot bath. Slowly I walked to my silver new pick up truck. 13

I drove to my apartment building. It was an old building but had great character to it. It was where all the import hunter and huntresses lived. I lived on the top floor and had it all to my self. 14

I took my green hoodie and put it on. I popped my hood up so no one would see my cut. I rushed out of the car after parking it in the small parking lot then ran inside. Quickly before anyone would talk to me I pressed the button for the elevator. Soon the ding came to tell me it was here. I rushed in and a few other hunters were there and I pressed number 15.15

I tapped my foot in inpatience when the elevator stopped. No one knew who I was right now or else they wouldn't of pressed their button. In respect. But if they saw my cheek cut ten people would crowd around me, freaking out.16

I entered my apartment. My kitchen was right to the left with an overview. My first aid was in the cabniet nin the bathroom. I ran past the kitchen and living room and down a very small hallway.I went into my room and to my big bathroom. 17

The cabinet I looked in the mirror to see that the cut wasn't deep so I just cleaned my cut and put band-aids on it. It sould be healed in a couple days. Then I'd be ready for my nest assighment. 18

***1 month later19

I had just finished my movie and was tired. I had killed another vampire that night. I didn't see that beautiful vampire and I was glad. I didn't like the way I secretly wanted to see him again. I only saw his face though and the back of him. His shoulders were strong looking and his pale skin was very smooth looking.20

I went down the hall and fell asleep in my bed almost instantly. Dreaming of another assignment. Dreaming of him and wonderingif he was a vampire. I knew he was which made him my enemy. I hated him. He will remain my enemy, that blood sucking bastard.21

I woken up by Derek, "Hey! I have an assignment." 22

I streched and rubbed my eyes looking at him, "Couldn't you of woke me up later?" I asked and sighed as I yawned. 23

"Um, no. I was too excited. I love the feeling of knowing that you our Huntress has already kill seevn-teen vampires within a couple months. No one has been able to do that. Our last last Daughter of the Hunt only had 12 in two months you have 17! The Son of the Hunt wants to meet you tonight, too. So you have a lot to do!" Derek told me.24

I smiled, "Okay,okay, I'm up!" I got up and brushed my teeth. Derek went into my kitchen and rading my fridge probably. I got dressed and brushed my hair. Soon I was in the kitchen making my self some hash browns and Derek handed me the folder. I felt like sinking when I saw the picture. It was the beautiful vamprie I had seen so many nights ago. His name was Ramon and he was 19 years old. He was royality and had been spotted a few days ago. Derek was explaining to me what I was coing and telling me how I will have a whole group to go with me, "NO!" I said all too quickly, "I want to do it myself." I told him 25

"I don't thin-"26

"I don't want you to think. I told you what I am going to do. I will take a royal on my own and I will be the one to bring him down." I assured him. Derek nodded andsoon left. I read up more on Ramon and soon a knock came to my door after several hours of going over and over the notes and pictures. His face was amazing beautiful just like I knew it was. Just by seeing his pictures I felt breahtless. The pictures weren't that good though because they had to make sure that Ramon did not see them or else they might of been killed.27

I answered the door as I went over ideas of where I was going to plan my attack and where Ramon took his humans for drinking. All I knew was vampires were stronger on a full moon it made them stronger.28

A man with brown hair and light green eyes was at my door. His features were very handsome. His skin was tan and smooth he smiled at me, "Hi, you're Maggie, right?" He asked and smiled.29

"Um, yes. I am sorry, who are you?" I asked.30

"Adam." He answered then whispere, "Son of the Hunt." He answerd and smiled.31

"Oh, come in." I invited and walkedto the kitchen. He came in and closed the door, "Can I get you anything?" I asked.32

"No thanks." He smiled.33

"So, Adam, what can I do for you?" I asked and sat next to him.34

"I was just coming to see what my future bride was like..." He began.35

I coughed and tried had to drink my water to stop choking on nothing,"Sorry. I didn't know I was engaged." I admitted.36

"Didn't you know that it is law to marry?" 37

"Um, no. I didn't. No one ever told me. Sorry."38

"It's okay." Adam looked at my folder, "Aw, you're after...Ramon?" He asked and smiled.39

"Um, yeah. You have any information?" I asked and smiled.40

"No, sorry."41

"No biggy."42

"You'r lucky. I am still training for my missions." He admitted to me.43

"How old are you?"44

"Twenty."45

"Oh, I am only eight-teen."46

"You learn fast don't you?" 47

"Kinda."48

He smiled and looked around. Everything was plain in my apartment and nothing speacil. I blushed when he looked my laundry spread out on the couch, "Nice." Adam commented and looked at me."I've never met anyone with purple eyes before. Today must be my lucky day." 49

"Yeah...they changed color when I was at the training Academy." 50

"Oh, cool. Hopefully, mine will too." He thought outloud.51

"I'd love to see what color if they do." I mused at the thought of what color they could be if mine turned purple.52

Adam stayed for a while and then had to go once he realized he had just skipped two lessons. I finally mapped and picked my spot then threw on a black tanktop, boots and tight jeans. My hair I kept down and just took my gun.53

I ran along the river and saw blood running down and then ran ontop of a hill. The moon was out for one more night then it would be a half moon tomorrow.54

There Ramon was and he had thrown the body down the hill and looked at me with a suducive smile and appeared at my side. He brushed his lips against my neck, "You, Maggie, smell so good." He informed me and smiled, "You already know who I am." 55

I stepped back and pointed my fancy silver gun at him, "Don't move!" I yelled and pointed it at him. 56

He appeared behind me. I wanted to drop my gun and give up but I knew who I was and who he was. I fought the erg and pointed it at him again, "Do your worst." He whispered in my ear, "I know everything about you. I've been watching you for days now or was it weeks. I don't know the difference any more." 57

"Shut up, vampire!" I said the last word with a cold expression and made my voice cruel to let him know that he wasn't going to win.58

"Ouch." He contiuned to whisper and then pinned me down. I was suprised at how easily I went down, "I did my part. I stayed away but you came and found me tonight." His voice rose as he spoke.59

"I came here to kill you." I assured him and then he sat on his knees beside me.60

"Okay, then kill me. Right now. Point that gun right here. He took my gun and pointed it to his heart. I gripped the gun as I tried to pull the trigger. 61

I don't know how long I was there looking into his black eyes and how I tried to pull the trigger again and again. I couldn't think straight and my body wasn't listening to what my head told it to do, "I'm waiting." He said impatiently.62

"I-I-I-" I was tongue tied and couldn't talk.63

He smirked and moved the gun as the wind blew his hair making him look even more perfect, "If you wanted me dead you would of killed me by now and be asleep in our warm bed." 64

His arms wrapped around me. I knew where Ramon was from, I knew that he was royality. I knew where some of the spots were that he was often at and I knew all of his family history.65

"No!" I yelled pushed him away and ran down the hill he was infront of me in minutes, "You royal-" 66

"Aw, so you do know who I am. Ramon at your service my beautiful lady!" Ramon bowed low and his eyes sparkled in delight.67

"Look. I never found you here tonight. You never saw me and I never saw you. Now go back in your direction and I'll go in mine." I said slowly and went started walking along with the river again but he was right beside me.68

"Where ever you go, I go." He told me, "Unless in the old building because if I go in there I am screwed." 69

"No, your directoin is the oposite of mine." I contiuned to walk as I said this. Didn't it bother Ramon that his family and other vampires would kill him if he was caught with me?70

"Not anymore it's not." He leaned against the tree near by. I didn't realize it but I stopped in my track but then started walking again.71

Finally he disappeared by the time I was in my truck but he appeared right when I was in bed. His arms were around me and I could feel his warm skin against mine.72

I just pretended like he wasn't there and I pretended like I had no clue what he was doing. Soon his lips were pressed against mine. I kissed back slowly and passionately. 73

Then he seperated from me and kissed my neck, "Drink." I whispered without even realizing what I was saying. He did though he drank. And I enjoyed every second of it and then all the sudden I was asleep in a deep sleep dreaming of him.
