War

One, two, three, four,1

Death is caused by ongoing wars,2

five, six, seven, eight,3

Children cry and families die,4

nine, ten, eleven, twelve,5

We fight for the country,6

Not for ourselves,7

One, two, three, four,8

No-ones coming anymore,9

five, six, seven, eight,10

Who else can we obliterate,11

nine, ten, eleven, twelve,12

Fighting stops and people mend.13

One, two, three four,14

World peace has settled,15

No more pain is to be caused.16

Thanks for entering - a lot of truth here, but I thought the marching rhythm was a little rough. Perhaps I need to read it over a few times.

    Best wishes,

Very nice. You pretty much caught the jist of war, here, and for that I applaud you.
