Two weeks later......1

Kila had been grounded ..for life or until she died..whichever came first. She was washing dishes after dinner when her cell phone began to ring. She had placed it on vibrate so her mother wouldn't question her as to why she still had it in her possession. Kila picked up, quickly whispered that she would call the person back, rinsed the dishes and put them away before scurrying to her room. She pressed redial and was surprised at who the call was from.2

"Hello?"3

"Hey sexy, how you been?"4

"Who is this?"5

"Who else but big, bad Trey?"6

Kila swallowed hard and closed her eyes briefly. She thought that she had gotten away from him and that whole situation.7

"You still there boo?"8

"Trey...what do you want?" "How did you get my number?"9

He chuckled softly.10

"Let's just say...I got connections."11

"What do you want?"12

"Why don't you come outside 'n see?"13

"What?"14

Kila scooted from her bed and peeked out her bedroom window. Big Trey was across the street leaning on a long, black car. Kila sat down heavily on the bed, in disbelief. 15

"Can you see me redbone?"16

"Yes Trey, I saw you. I need you to leave...now."17

"Aw boo, sorry, but I ain't 'bout to go nowhere..without you."18

Kila's heart began to thud in her chest and her palms began to sweat. She had no idea what Big Trey would do and she was definitely afraid of finding out.19

"Please, Trey. I-"20

"Oooohhh damn, I love how you call my name..."21

"I'm serious, please, you have to-"22

"KILA! I no you ain't on your damn phone after I told you--"23

"I'm not Mama!! Trey leave-NOW!!"24

With that, Kila hung up the phone, praying that Big Trey left without causing any problems. 25

"Kila, get out here."26

"Yes ma'am."27

Kila stuffed her cellphone underneath her mattress and quickly went into the living room to see what her mom wanted.28

"I'm taking Shayna to practice for her play. We'll be back around 9 p.m. and I expect you to behave yourself like the lady you should have learned to be in the weeks that you've been grounded. Can I trust you to do that?"29

"Yes...Mama, thank you so much for trusting me!"30

Kila's mom smiled slightly and quickly erased it from her face.31

"Well, don't abuse it. Call me if you get yourself into any trouble."32

Kila smiled brightly and ushered them out of the door. She glanced nervously down the street but Big Trey's car was nowhere to be found. With a final wave to her mom and Shayna, she shut the door and sighed with relief. About an hour later, Kila heard the front door creak open. She sat up on the bed, wondering if her mom and Shayna had left the practice early. She heard a woman's laughter and a man's deep chuckle and turned the light off in her room. She tiptoed down the hallway and hid in the bathroom to get a better view. She saw her mom's boyfriend, Jerry in the kitchen with a woman pressed up against the counter. The woman was dark-skinned with long blonde hair. Kila felt the hairs rise on her arms and her heart began to pound. She watched as the woman made Jerry another shot of liquor and tell him to go wait in the bedroom. After the woman took another shot, she went towards the bedroom. About ten minutes later she reappeared, smiling and wiping the sides of her mouth. The woman was walking towards Kila and Kila backed away from the bathroom door, accidentally knocking over the trashcan. The woman heard the noise and burst into the bathroom, gripping Kila by the arm, grinning devilishly.33

"Let me go!" Kila whispered angrily.34

"Oh hell nah. You should remember me lil bitch." she hissed.35

"Get off of me!" The woman gripped Kila's arm tighter and slapped her hard across the face.36

"Shut the fuck up! Big Trey sent me to bait your cheatin' ass stepdaddy to get to your lil' dumbass. Shit, takin' you to 'im will make up for all my fuck-ups, so whatever. You must have some bomb-ass pussy or something, 'cuz he feenin' fo' yo' lil' ass like crazy."37

Kila could no longer control her breathing and had begun to cry. She couldn't believe what this woman was saying to her!38

"You such a lil' punk..I swear!! What Trey sees in you, shit I don't even know."39

Kila's only response was a light sniff.40

"Oh, 'n uh, my name Chandraya. Just in case you was wondering."41

Chandraya chuckled and turned Kila's face towards hers. She had grown curious as to what made Trey like her so much. Chandraya was met with Kila's big, innocent hazel eyes and pink pouty lips. She had a beauty mark above her lip on the left side and on her cheekbone, giving her an angelic yet sultry look. All of a sudden, Chandraya let her lips meet Kila's. The softness shocked her, making her kiss her again. Kila was too shocked to even stop her. Chandraya felt her womanhood moisten and grew angry with Kila's innocent beauty, causing her to slap her even harder across the face, leaving an angry handprint on her honey-colored cheek. Kila felt herself drift off, everything turning black in front of her very eyes.42

Chandraya immediately felt a deep remorse for striking the young girl for no reason. She quickly shrugged off the feeling, lifting Kila's body and walking towards the door. Big Trey met her on the porch and she handed him Kila's unconscious body. Big Trey smiled and placed Kila in the car, speeding off into the night with Chandraya in the backseat reminiscing about Kila's sweet kiss.
