The Sun's Final Setting

Years have passed since the sun has shown
It's once magnificent mane. Nothing but
Darkness exists. That winter has not
Ended. Only cold days...Nothing but cold Exists.1

The leaves of the extravagant oak have
Turned brown and fallen. It's bare branches
Now stand defenseless against the cold
Air that burns my lungs. Nothing but Sadness Exists.2

The once restless town has transformed
Into a ghost town. It's citizens
Hide in their abodes, attempting to survive
Another day. Another cold day... Nothing but Silence exists.3

My once beating heart has frozen in
The cold air, My love died and left
Me here alone. My mind has lost itself,
I seek pleasure, but only find pain. Only solitude exists.4
