A short story, real happened in the City. My twin sister Tallulah told it.1
Our son is getting married. Yes, Luci and I, we have a son.
It’s not really our son, but we thought that we were responsible for what was happened with him.
We turned him by accident and adopted him, when we found out we did.2
It’s not a public secret, but we are not proud on it, so we didn’t talk about it.
Now he has spread his wings and found the love of his ‘life’. I really hope he has.
Now he is happy on this dark side of the world, my sister and I said to each other it was time for telling what was happened that night.3
Luci and I, we were that evening in the mission.
We talked, made jokes, laughed, just the things that sisters do together.
It was still a little light when he came into the chapel.
A young strong good-looking man.
He smiled at my sister, I didn’t know why. Then he mentioned my sister’s name, so I knew she had met him before.
She smiled back, and introduced us. She said: “Tall this is Jan, Jan this is my sister Tallulah.”
I said: “Hello Jan, nice to meet you, but please call me Tall or Talli.”
I noticed he had problems with our language, which we can understand. The language in the City isn’t our language too, but we manage, we survive.
He named me ‘Tulli’, and I loved it.4
My sister had met him when she was out of the City; she had talked with him about where she lived, what she was, about me.
She made him curious, and when she returned to the City he was so crazy at her that he followed her.
If he had known what she liked he had never done that.5
We talked that evening, it was very relaxed, and he didn’t fear us at all.
And when we told him we were vampires, he just laughed.
A young strong good-looking human man.
It brings the water in your mouth, and I wasn’t changed at that time.
We were still in our human form. Soon it should be dark, and Luci and I should change to our vampire form.
But I did feel the hunger already coming up.6
Suddenly he said he was curious about the biting, a lot of humans are curious about it.
He would know how it should feel, the biting and the draining. We said we wouldn’t do it.7
We were wrong, he insisted that we would give him a little demonstration. We refused, but it was dark at that time and the changing was happen.
It was in the days that there wasn’t much ‘food’ in the City.8
He was curious, we were hungry.9
He was too curious, we were too hungry. We gave him a demonstration.
We let him have it all.
Over and over we feed on him; we drained him till we had enough.
We overwhelmed him in a blind rage.
At one moment he must have struggled for his life.
I noticed the next morning, bruises, scratches and bite marks on my arms.10
I left before my sister.
Jan was very weak, but his body moved, so I guessed he was alive.
Luci took care of him I think. I am certain there was after I left no sex involved.
I know my sister, and she doesn’t want a man.11
A few days later we saw Jan back, he was turned.
We had turned him that night. We couldn’t resist the hunger, we did go to far and we made the mistake that we didn’t send him away.
There he was, a young strong good-looking vampire man.
Jan didn’t know anything about being a vampire.
We adopted him, tried to teach him all we knew, and were still learning too.
He stayed weeks on our side, but he was still a foreigner.
The problems with the language made him decide to move on, we agreed.
A lot of citizens don’t have patience with strangers. Jan left the City.12
On occasion Jan did visit Luci and me, or we went to his place.
He said he was happy, he had found a vampire girl of his own age.
The next time he would bring her with him. He did, and she was a beauty. Khesha, his love.13
Now he’s getting married. I hope he’s going to be happy.
Even he’s adopted by Luci and me; you don’t want to let go your ‘child’.
NOT even in this strange dark world.

Soory, but It didn't really hook me up very much. I felt it was a bittoo short and that if you wanted it short, that you need more detail, then it would be OK. sorry for the bad comments, but thank you for entering my contest. louisethebeaver.

Er um... it was very short. Nothing wrong with that. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. But wow that was short. good story. Maybe not so good title. But hey overall it wasn't the worst I've ever read.
-
This certainly is an odd little story. Thanks for entering and good luck in my contest!
-
Wow. It's good, it followed the story structure.
However, you can expand it more. I know you hate to change things, but you can blow it into at least a novella. That would be more interesting. I mean, you can't just say Jan left the city.
You have to talk about how the relationships developed and stuff like that. I'm already doing that with my Twilight fanfic.
You can elaborate on Jan and Khesha's romance too.
-
I read all of this and it was good, but you didn't have enough detail...work on that please.

Good job with your story. It was short, but fast paced which is perfectly fine. The characters are very interesting. I like how they are twin sisters and the loving bond they possess is so openly presented. It is a nice little tale. Thank you for entering my contest and good luck.
