And Doozer begot Dan, and...

[WARNING: pure BS ahead] 1

I come from a long line of honourable Doozers. The great DoozerBobby, heir of the awesome DoozerRobert, heir of the stupendous DoozerRobby, heir of the stunning DoozerBob... And so on! 2

Now, you may be wondering how one gets to be a Doozer, a fair question, I say! The prerequisites are: 3

* Being really, really cool. 4

* Being a fan of the name Bob. 5

* Being uber-super really cool. 6

* Being a dude with an ego the size of Jupiter. 7

* Being so stunningly cool the world freezes. 8

* Being highly creative. 9

If a dude happens to have said qualities (i.e. Me) they can be nominated by the previous Doozer to be their heir. Said lucky sod then becomes an Apprentice Doozer (works much like the Star Wars system for Siths), where they learn the art of being a Doozer. They do not become a full Doozer until the previous Doozer dies. Alas, poor DoozerBobby had a nasty accident. I wrote a poem about his demise: 10

DoozerBobby sat on a wall,
DoozerBobby had a great fall.
All the king's men, and all the king's horses...
Were paid handsomely never to put Bobby together again. 11

And that is how I became DoozerDan. 12

[Slightly less BSed reason] 14

My siblings gave me the nickname after the Doozers in Fraggle Rock. (For those who don't know, they're little creatures that love to build things.) Due to me always building things with Lego, loving to design stuff and my name being Dan, I got nicknamed DoozerDan. I guess it's just stuck with me. Every site I join I use that name, so you can pretty much Google DoozerDan and you'll only come up with results for me. Awesome, eh? 15

When I first joined a few music sites I had my username at DoozerDan the Guitarman, but that was too long, so it got shortened back to DoozerDan again. That was the only change I've had. 16

I love my username, wouldn't wanna change it. 17

Author notes

The first reason was 'cause I felt like it, none of it is true, and a FYI: I don't have that much of an ego - I barely have one at all. I just like to wind people up by pretending I have one.

The second reason is the true reason. Really short and boring (hence the insertion of the first reason).

    Ego? You? Certainly not.
    The first reason behind your username was freaking hilarious. Made me crack up ..
    Good job, and good luck in the contest.

      My kind of...

      Oh well, can't all have brilliant stories behind our usernames.

      Glad you enjoyed. xD

    Personally, the first reason sounds truer to me. But that's just based on how much BS I know you to be full of. Plus an egotistical comedic Sith lord? Oh yeah, that is you to a T. *laughs then runs away from giggle sabers*

    Point being, this amused me to no end and I shall now have to shake the giggles out of my hair or I will never sleep properly tonight.

      Hehe. Glad you enjoyed it.

      Yea, you've stumbled upon truth there. I am full of BS. It's why I write comedy so well.
