Bloody Bloody Drip Drip Toe

There was once a an old woman who lived with her two little grandaughters in a house on top of a hill. One day, she sent the two girls out to play. So, the two little girls went walking through the cemetery that was just down the road, looking for the raspberries that grew along the fence. They weren't finding very many, when the eldest girl suddenly spied a big toe sticking up out of the ground. 1

Since they were getting a little tired, the girls decided to take the toe home to their grandmother, but they soon discovered that the toe was stuck tight to the ground. First the elder girl pulled, then the younger girl pulled, but the toe would not come loose. Finally, they pulled on the big toe together, and with a loud squishy POP! it came out.2

The two little girls carried the bloody toe home to their grandmother and showed it to her proudly. She thought it was very unusual and nice, and when they were done playing they put it in a jar in the medicine cabinet, next to the Campho-phenique. 3

That night, a terrible storm blew up. The wind was howling, rain came in sheets, thunder boomed, and lightning lit up the sky in flashes. The two little girls huddled in bed with their grandmother, listening to her scary stories, when suddenly they all heard a loud moaning sound coming from down the road. "Hush," said the grandmother, "it's only the storm." But soon, they all heard the noise again, louder and more clearly.4

"OHHHHHHH OWWWWWWW...BLOOOOODY BLOOOOODY DRIIIIP DRIIIIP!" Went the moaning sound. The two girls screamed and the Grandmother rushed to the window and looked out. She could just barely make out a large, dark shape moving slowly up the driveway.5

"OHHHHHHH OWWWWWWW...BLOOOOODY BLOOOOODY DRIIIIP DRIIIIP!" 6

"What is that thing?" The Grandmother cried. Now they could hear a thumping sound, the sound of footsteps coming up the walk, then up the front steps...THUMP...THUMP...THUMP!7

"OHHHHHHH OWWWWWWW...BLOOOOODY BLOOOOODY DRIIIIP DRIIIIP!" The monster rumbled again.8

"What should we do?" Cried the frightened little girls.9

KER-KRASH! the creature downstairs smashed through the front door. SKREEEEEEEK! went the hinges as the door was twisted off them. SCHRRAAAPE! SCHRRAAAAPE! went the sound of monstrous feet scraping across the rug. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! the feet were coming up the stairway now. "OHHHHHHH OWWWWWWW...BLOOOOODY BLOOOOODY DRIIIIP DRIIIIP!" 10

"Quick," said the Grandmother, "get under the bed!"11

THUD! THUD! THUD! came the footsteps down the hall, closer...and closer...and closer! "OHHHHHHH OWWWWWWW...BLOOOOODY BLOOOOODY DRIIIIP DRIIIIP!" And then...12

"Shhhh!" said the Grandmother, "Whats this? He's gone on down the hall. He's passed our room! Why, it sounds like...he's going into the bathroom!"13

Curious now, the two little girls and their grandmother grabbed a flashlight and quietly crept out into the hallway. The bathroom door at the end of the hall was open a crack, and a tiny sliver of light was spilling out. CREAAAK! CREAAAK! CREAAAAK! went the floorboards under their feet as they came closer...and closer...and closer...14

Strange noises were coming from the bathroom as they neared the door. The Grandmother reached out slowly...slowly...and pushed the door open.15

"I WANT MY BLOOOOODY BLOOOOODY DRIIIIP DRIIIIP TOE!!!!" Screamed the hideous monster as he turned on them.16

"AAAAAAGGGHHHHHH!" Screamed the two little girls. The Grandmother quickly dodged the horrible creature and opened the medicine cabinet where the bloody toe was kept safely in its jar, next to the Campho-phenique. She threw the jar at the monster and it smashed into a thousand pieces.17

The monster carefully picked up his big toe and examined it closely to see that it was alright. Then he slowly turned to the terrified Grandmother and her two Granddaughters and said...18

"got a bandaid?" 19
