'~~~~~*Chapter`5*~~~~~'1
A few days passed by, and night after night, she found herself at the same place where she true identity fist found her. Alone again, she sat, knees bent and arms wrapped around them, across the mirror. The voice returned again, this time calmer, ''What's the matter, my little devil? You seem down. Was it something I said? How are those wounds that lay across your arms anyways?'' Relieved that there was no yelling, she silently glanced down at her delicate thin arms. With her knees still bent to her chest, she used the hand she had drawn the pictures with to slowly and gently roll up her longsleved shirt to see what she had done 3 days before. To her amazement, she saw the words ''THEY WON'' carved in her inner forearm. She was so confused. She couldn't remember doing this to herself. ''Was I cutting in my sleep?...No, impossible!...Am I delusional?...Man, I hope not. I don't think I am...I must have just been numb...Yeah...That's it, numb!''2
A knock came suddenly at the door that led to her ''freedom''. It was once again, her mother, looking for simple prey to munch on before the big catch. She didn't even flinch as the knocks became more ferocious bangs. A sudden reply from the mirror came, ''What?! I'm busy!'' ''Reha Lynn Strangler, you come down to dinner right this instant!'' The sound of her full name coming out of her mother's mouth brought a stranger cringe up and down her bony spine. Everyone used to , and still do, call her R. L. Stine. They didn't only call her that because of her initials, but because of her deep dark writes such as her poems and her stories. 3
Reah Lynn's mother finally gave up after 10 minutes of yelling to come down to eat. She hasn't eaten in 2 weeks now. Intaking nothing but water and a rare cookie to nibble on to make her look like she eats regularly. She's given into the voices of the mirror and now believed every word it said. She didn't mind about it any more since she was the only one that usually would listen. Don't get her wrong, she always had her boyfriend, but there were so many other things she wanted to tell him but was scared of his reactions. ''What if I scare him away like the others?'', she would constantly remind herself. She always let the fact that she one day needed to tell him about herself, until one day, when he found out; found out about everything.4
