Why Me? Ch.6: OMGOSH; IT'S MY CRUSH!

Anne was speechless for a minute before the word “What....?” came out of her mouth.1

“Don't you see Anne?” Aunt Rachel asked. “Thomas 'loves you'!”2

Anne, feeling light headed, sat down in one of the chairs in her uncles hospital room.3

“H....how d—do you know this?” Anne stuttered still in shock about the news they were telling her.4

“This girl's not getting it?!” Matt asked Rachel looking up at her, since, he was still in bed and Rachel was standing.5

“Relaxes Matty, she's not used to being told 'love you' in car.” Rachel commented walking over to the confused girl.6

“Look sweetie, we know this because when your uncle and I were dating, we use to say the same thing to each other with the car horn.”7

“Oh......” Anne spoke.8

“Um, well, It's almost 4 in the morning. I'm sure Mr. Weiss needs his rest right now.” The Nurse said looking a her watch.9

Of course, she meant Anne and aunt Rachel had to leave now. 10

“Nan!” Rachel argued. “We're fine staying here, and besides, Matt never did like hospitals. I could never leave him here all by himself.11

“Hey! Now you're making me sound wimpy woman!” Matt hissed, shaking a fist over to her. 12

“Oh, well, if you want....” The nurse trailed off, letting Aunt Rachel jump in.13

“Oh thank you nurse lady, we promise to be good.” Rachel smiled, waving to the young nurse walking out the door.14

This may make aunt Rachel and uncle Matt happy. Anne thought. But I hate this place!15

“I'm leaving.” Anne stud up and walked to the door, about to leave.16

“What are you talking about?” Rachel asked, worryingly. 17

“I need to go home and do my homework and go to sleep so I can be somewhat alive tomorrow.” Anne replied, now half way out the door.18

“But you don't have to go to school today, sweetie. After all the things you've been though, we understand.” Rachel said with a weak smile on her face. “Now, please come baa-”19

“NO! I HATE THIS HELL-HOLE!” Anne yelled, slamming the door and running down the steps. 20

Bad angel: No we're cooking! Way to go Anne!21

Good angel: What are you talking about?! Know Anne's aunt and uncle are going to get worried about her! Hey, Anne, slow down I think I see someone coming around the corner---”22

“SHUT UP YOU TWO!” Anne screamed over at her shoulders, since, the two angels were standing there.23

Anne didn't see the person she run into that her “Good angel” warned her about until now; now that she was setting on his lap as he was holding, with one hand, on to the railing and, with the other hand, holding Anne around the wast so she wouldn't fall making him fall with her.25

Anne's hands were on his strong chest and her legs on either side of him.26

The two sets of eyes meet and surly enough, they both knew who the other was in no time.27

“T-Thomas?!” Anne blushed, wishing she never did leave the room now.28

“Anne, are you okay? You shouldn't run down the steps like that...as you can see....” Thomas muttered the last part as he looked away from her big, bright brown eyes.29

Anne blushed red all over her face as she tried to get up-off of him saying, “I'm s-sorry” as she did so.30

Thomas was about to say “It's okay” but didn't get the chance as he lost his grab on the rail and both bodies sled down the steps until they hit the platform on the 2nd floor. Anne was now laying on top of him as they came to a stop.31

“Oh! I-I'm s-so s-s-s-sorry!” Anne blushed red.32

“It's okay.” Thomas said lifting his upper body, and Anne's, with his forearms. 33

There was silence between the two.34

Bad angel: Ask him about the two horn beeps Anne! 35

Good angel: Yes, that's a great idea! Do it Anne! This may be the only time we agree with each other! Do it!36

Anne bit her lip. It is a good time to ask....I guess.37

“Thomas....?”38

“Yeah?” He said dreamy.39

“....When you beeped the horn at me when you dropped me off at my house...”40

“Yeah?” Thomas said dreamy like again as he looked at how hot she looked in skinny jeans and a t-shirt with the words “Coca-Cola” on it as she was still on top of him.41

“....Did you mean to tell me...”42

“Yeah?” 43

Thomas was looking strait into Anne's eyes now and she froze, scared to ask the rest of the question.44

“...Did you mean...to say to me....”45

“Yeah?”46

The words wouldn't come out of Anne's mouth. She was scared and didn't know what to do but just lay there on top of her crush.47

“Didyoumeantosay'loveyou'incar?!”Anne spitted out the last part and bit her lip again, hoping he understand all of that.48

I'll say “Yes” and then kiss her while I have the chance. Thomas thought as he moved in for the kill. 49

“Anne! Are you in here?!” The voice of a old woman filled the air around the two teens about to kiss. Then foot steps were heard coming down the steps Anne run and then slipped down.50

Without a 2nd thought, the two lovers moved away from each other and stud up just in time as Anne's aunt came racing down to them.51

“ANNE! I'VE BEEN LOOKING ALL OVER FOR YOU! YOU HAD ME WORRIED! DON'T EVER DO THAT TO ME AGAIN!” 52

Without saying “Hi” or “Bye” to Thomas, Rachel grabbed Anne by the hand and dragged her up to Matt's room, Telling Anne she wasn't letting her leave until they were all leaving this “Hell-hole” again.53

Thomas waved good-bye to Anne as she turned to look at him, giving him a little wave too.54

“Life sucks” they both thought. 55
