The Club, Part 3

"Anna? Earth to Anna?"1

"What?" Anna was called out of her mind by Liv's voice.2

"Why did you call us here? You sounded really panicked in your message." Felicia and Alexandra murmured in agreement.3

"It's about Ben. He's keeps asking me to talk to him, saying there's something he needs to explain, that he needs to say to me. But, I don't know if I can talk to him. In a way, I want to know what he has to say, because I thought he was different." Anna justified herself, trying to figure out her own mind as she spoke. "But, he told me he slept with her, and he cheated on me for two weeks and god, I didn't even know. I mean, what does that say about me? Have lots of guys cheated on me? Am I ignorant? I don't even know, and that's what scares. But, I think I need to talk to him, because I'm not over him, and because I think I do owe it to him, I mean, it's not like I gave him a chance to explain. But I don't know, I'm just freaking out right now."4

Andra spoke first, "You don't have to talk to him. You don't owe it to him, and you don't need anything from him. He slept with her. Period. End of story. But, if you think it will give you some sort of closure or something, then go ahead. Be warned though, it won't be easy."5

Suddenly, Anna fell. She hit the ground with a thud, echoing through the club. Felicia hit the floor in an instant. "Anna? Anna? Anna, I need you to talk to me. Are you there? Anna, just keep looking into my eyes. Anna, don't fade away. Come on, stay with me." Anna was out cold. 6

Liv panicked, unsure what to do, she began to scream directions. "Call 911! Get an ambulance! Someone, Someone do something! Please!"7

Andra began to quiet Liv. "I'm sure she's fine. Felicia is taking care of her, and someone has already called an ambulance. Why don't you come with me, we can follow the ambulance to the hospital."8

Felicia, an EMT, felt that she was always "on duty". Her bag was always in her car, and Andra had gotten it for her as soon as Anna fell. Felicia, while examing Anna, had called an ambulance, and put in a request for two certain EMT's to be those who answered the call. She knew what was wrong with Anna, but felt it wasn't time for most people to know. She could trust Theo and Aisha with Anna, but that was it. She wasn't even sure she was ready to tell Andra and Liv why Anna had fallen, out cold, so suddenly. It would shatter their image of her.9
