A prayer for the world

Oh dear Father, our prayer to you 1

And every single word is true 2

We need your help down here below 3

I really think that you should know 4

There's sickness, hate and war down here5

The world can't feel that you are near 6

As man we're week and tremble and shake 7

And hope someday soon that you will make 8

Your presence felt and your love will flow9

And all the doubter's here will know10

That this old world didn't come about 11

From a big bang theory without much clout12

A house that's built, no one would think 13

It's very existence came about in a wink 14

Or the metal pieces of a jumbo jet plane 15

Or the carriage’s of a commuter train 16

It should be known that for every creation 17

A creator is needed for it’s very formation 18

Yet with all of the beauty this world can display 19

Your people are somehow filled with dismay 20

So please God let everyone know you are there 21

I hope you will answer as this is our prayer.22

    A prayer into the abyss

    Has the optimism of a child, only one spelling error (line 7 should spell as weak). Was this done in the style of a child? Resonantes to me like a sad little boy crying as the tanks roll past his bombed down house. A Gaza child, if you will, so very resonant now.
    Good luck with the comp, but i think the unresponsivness of God is the only thing that really lets him get away with the mess that he has caused down here.

    Hi, God sent many people like you (and me) who are neutralizing the overall 'evil' effect of humans.

    I think God wants us to solve our problem. (Which is not going to happen in near future...and far future too).
