Once upon a time there were four girls. One was pretty. One was smart. One was sweet, and one.....was mysterious. But they were all dreamers, these girls. Nothing but dreamers. Something was wrong with each of them. Bad blood. Terrible dreams. Haunting secrets. 2
Every day, these girls met. And they believed. They believed they could change what they were--damaged, unloved. Cast-off girls. They believed they could be alive, adored, needed, loved. But....it was only a hope. Nothing was true. This is a ghost story, remember? A tragedy.3
Those stupid, stupid girls. They were betrayed by their own impossible hopes. Things couldn't be different for them, because they weren't special, you see. They faded before their own eyes, till they were nothing more than living ghosts, haunting each other with what could be.4

Great write. I agree with Glenn that it isn't the worst ghost story ever, or even a ghost story. It sounds like the heart of a dream that didn't come true.

I think this is a really good story. Don't say it is the worst goast story, because it isn't. But, in my consideration, it isn't a goast story. But maybe that's just me. Awesome write Darling! Keep up the exellent work

saying it's the worst ghost story ever heard adds a lot of cynicisim to set the mood. makes things sound especially bitter. great write!
