Local cow gives birth to space alien

Bystanders were shocked this morning when Betsy, Farmer Jay Franklin's  milking cow, gave birth to a fuzzy little space alien. 1

The alien bares a striking resemblance to a teletubby, sending conspiracy theorists into chaos. 2

Upon entering earth's atmosphere-by way of Betsy's uterus- the alien promptly wrapped his fuzzy self around Betsy's leg and began alternately cooing at her and practicing his "moo".3

Unconvinced, five year old Samantha stepped boldly towards the alien and asked "Why'd you come out of a cow? Your not a cow." 4

After several seconds of tense silence, the alien blushed and answered5

"Because it was obviously the most intelligent species earth had to offer."6

"I'm sorry, what?" A startled reporter asked.7

"Why else would the cow be walking around all day with nothing to do but chew grass while you perform all the tasks?" was his response. He then promptly returned his adoration to the cow.8

What happens now? Will there be a rash of cow impregnation by the aliens? Will they take over our planet, or is their presence benign? 9

Only time will tell.10

I wish I could upload a picture of a teletubby!

LOL. I once wrote a report about the three little pigs... I ought to post it.

This was really good. Not only is it clever but it pokes a little fun at teletubbies! Great write, fun to read. Keep it up.

Lmao, thought this was quite comical - cant quite see a hidden meaning either, but the part where the alien blushed, i could just hear the silence that would suddenly descend on the place - nice job!

    shubs,
I was watching the scifi channel yesterday and on this alien obduction portion of some show, I think it was called "In search of.." anyways, they said that cows were abducted and mutilated by aliens. So hey, could happen! Maybe... hehe

    Becaab,
It isn't really meant to be a poem. It's a fake newspaper article from a tabloid. Does that explain the "ungodly long lines?" lol

I thought about it while bored at work. It's a good place for inspiration because there is no t.v.!

You should write for CNN this is too funny. I wonder if cows are the smarter ones. I have a friend that owns a dairy and they are catered to every minute of the day. Even have little sprayers to keep them cool

lol. got me to smile. reminds me of some movie where a dog says something about "humans think they're smarter than us, but you don't see us picking up thier poop." very cute and funny, and i loves how you wrote it like somehting you would read in a newspaper.

Superb, big imagination here. funny and nice. I wanted to know that particular moment that prompted you to write this. It wasn't written for any contest, yet you have portrayed great imagination. Anyway, thanks for sharing this wonderful piece.

Apart from the grammar errors (ie. there is a difference between your and you're) this is interesting as it points out that cows do nothing to earn their keep whilst humans work hard (well some do). Of course cows are stuck in bloody fields all day and they get eaten in the end, so you can't have it both ways.
