"Can we talk? I'm feeling kind of down."1
"Yeah, sure! What's up?"2
*sigh* "Stuff... Urgh! There is just so much running through my mind right now! I don't know if I'm failing chemistry or not, Selene wont talk to me, and I have no idea what the hell I'm going to do with my future... Sometimes it's just to much. You just want to run away, take a few steps back, you know?"3
(30 second pause)4
"Yeah." *turns head* "I know what it's like."5
"Right now I just want to take a break. Hang out at someone's house or something. I don't know... I don't want to bore you or anything, so I'll just shut up now."6
"No, no, It's fine! You aren't boring me in the least. I'd like to help. Huh... I don't know man. Just try and keep your head up, I guess. Don't worry about your future right now, it's still a couple years away. And Selene'll come around, she can't be mad at you for long."7
"But my future is here now! Everyone is talking about what they want to do, I still don't have a clue! Look, even you have some idea as to what you plan on doing!"8
"No, not really. Just because I'm smart doesn't mean that I know what I want to do with my life. I envision having the perfect job, but I don't know what that job would BE."9
"At least you can get whatever job you want, look at me. I'm barely scraping by the skin of my teeth."10
"Having options does not make it any easier to decide what you want to do. If anything, it bloody well makes it harder. Everyone expects great things from you, you have so many options in front of you. How am I supposed to decide what will make me happy for the rest of my life when I don't have time for anything BUT school?"11
"Still, you can do anything you want. Doesn't mean you have to decide now."12
"EXACTLY! That's what I've been telling you!"13
*sigh* "Whatever."14
"Sorry, I meant to help you. Not yell."15
"Yeah. I know..."16
(25 second pause)17
"I kind of failed at that, didn't I?"18
"Not really. Just talking with someone makes me feel better."19
"Well, ok. Cool."20
"Mhmm."21

Author notes
A not-so-new idea I've been toying with for a while. Basically, this is part of a series where each story has absolutely nothing to do with the other. The idea is that I come up with completely random characters in my mind, and then writing down a dialog that would take place between them. Don't know how these people are conversing; could be in person, over the phone, texting, whatever works. You decided. So... Yeah. They will most likely be confusing, and possibly stupid. Just depends on my mood that day.
PS-The title has absolutely nothing to do with the stories, just thought it was a pretty good one.
