And so the fight to make peace among the five species continued. Slowly the fighting slowed a bit as they got to know each other and notice they had more in common then they thought. Everyone was starting to realize that this war ran deeper then there hatred it ran deeper then there clans at war. Raven was back and she was killing again. So they came up with a motto, get along or die. Soon everything quieted down and people worked together and the Haven was finally a fun place to be.  Dylan smiled at this as Jenn, Eric and Peter walk over. They all pattered her on the back causing her to nearly fall over.
“You did it” Jenn laughed and Dylan giggled shaking her head.
“We did it” Dylan corrected and they both laughed, Peter and Eric beamed looking around.
“Now this is what a haven should look like” Eric and Peter said at the same time. Everyone stopped while Jenn and Dylan looked at them raising an eyebrow. This caused them all the burst out laughing.
“You did what even we couldn’t” Keda confessed from behind them causing them all to jump. They all turned around and Dylan turned a deep shade of red while Jenn gasped and Peter blinks. Eric stood stone stiff not moving an inch.
“We are very grateful” Coda smiled taking a bow. The two elders left a small smile tugging at there lips as the four teens were left mouths hanging open. They all looked at each other speechless. Glada popped out of no where causing Dylan to scream and jumps almost falling over if Eric wouldn’t have caught her.
“You young ones are amazing and show us our future is still livable” she smiled and walked off towards the others. Dylan, Eric, Peter and Jenn all turned to look at each other.
“Uh…” Eric blinked.
“Um…” Peter gasped.
“I…” Jenn said wide eyed.
“Oh…” Dylan said lost for words. They stood there in silence for a few seconds and were again attacked by laughter. 3

Jenn walked up to Dylan worried. It had been a few days since the elders had deemed them high and mighty. Dylan gave her a puzzled look.
“What’s wrong?” Dylan asked at Jenn’s worried look.
“Dylan, were running out of supplies” Jenn said and Dylan swore loudly and Jenn giggled.
“This Haven was made for short term, I don’t think people thought the war was going to last so long.” Dylan stated and sat down putting her head in her hands. Jenn looked at her.
“Dylan…we can just go gather some more” Jenn said trying to ease her friends stress. Dylan looked up and smiled at her relived at the easy conclusion. “I’ll go grab Peter, you go grab lover-“Jenn stopped and covered her mouth before she could finish and Dylan looked at her going beat red.
“Lover what!” Dylan squeaked and Jenn smiled lightly. Jenn then took off.
“Dun worry it’s nothing!” Dylan just turned and took deep breaths to calm herself down. She then set out to track down Eric. Eric jumped out and grabbed her shoulder.
“Hey” he whispered and Dylan screamed jumping and turning around decking him in the jaw with her elbow. Eric groaned and fell backwards hitting a tree. Dylan gasped and put her hands to her mouth.
“I’m so sorry!” she said in a small voice and walked over to him. Eric looked at her.
“Well, at least I know you can fight” he said rubbing his jaw. Dylan laughed lightly at that.
“Well if you can joke your fine” She smiled and looked him in the eyes. He looks back at her a smile on his face as he placed his right hand on her left cheek. Dylan looked down her face going pink. Eric smiled and leans in a bit. Dylan leans in with him there lips just about to touch.
“ERIC!!!” Peter yelled as he jumped on him. Dylan squeaked as Eric fell from Peter’s weight causing them both to fall on her. Jenn blinks running up next to Eric and Peter.
“Where’s Dylan” Jenn looked around then hears whimpering and squeaking. Jenn’s eyes go wide. “Um…I think you’re both on Dylan.” Eric yelps as he gets pokes in the back with something sharp. Peter gets thrown of as Eric scurries to get up holding his back. Dylan gasps for breath a sharp dagger in her hand.
“You stabbed me!” Eric yelled and Dylan glared.
“Well you two were suffocating me!” Dylan snapped back still gasping for breath.
“Then why didn’t he get stabbed too!” Eric demanded and Dylan rolled her eyes sitting up.
“Because you were the closest thing to the dagger!” Dylan gets helped up by Jenn whose laughing.
“I think we should get going. It’s going to be dark soon.” Jenn said looking at the sky as darkness could be seen in the distance. Dylan nodded and turned towards the forest. 4

Dylan stopped and turned to face them a smile on her face.
“I’m going into the lake to look for some edible sea food” she laughed and the others rolled there eyes. Dylan ran and jumped into the lake disappearing beneath it’s black depths. Peter yawned.
“I’ll check this half of the forest” she said and turned into his wolf form and took off running leaving Jenn and Eric.
“I’ll take the other half” Jenn smiled and took off in the opposite direction her long blond curls flying madly behind her. Eric sighed as he looked around, a path caught his eye as he walked a long it. He kicked a rock and looked up in time to spot a clearing. She snorted as he realized this was the clearing they left just a few weeks ago. He walked into it still shocked at the tree’s hugeness. He placed a hand on it and smiled as he started to climb. Once he reached the top he sat down. He looked at the view from up here and smiled. He stood up and stretched. He looked at one of the huge branches and walked over to it, once near it he ran a finger over the tiny little holes. He turned and started to walk towards the one Dylan used.
“Eric” a voice said calmly. Eric jumped and turned around to see Tyler and he relaxed raising an eyebrow.
“Yes?” Eric asked and Tyler moved closer. Something’s different…his smell is off. Eric thought and it sent shivers down his spine.
“Eric, Eric, Eric” Tyler chimed in a sing song voice. Eric took a step back alarmed. I don’t like this…not at all Eric thought.
“Tyler…” Eric said alarm present in his voice. Tyler laughed a little cruelly and walked closer causing Eric to step back again.
“What’s wrong Eric?” Tyler asked an innocent look on his face as he walked closer to Eric. Eric took a step back and started to panic as he felt one of the huge branches on his back.
“Tyler! What are you doing?” Eric asked as he looked around franticly.
“No one’s coming for you Eric. Your all alone” Tyler smirked and Eric paled as fangs grew in Tyler’s mouth.
“Tyler…who turned you” Eric asked his voice starting to crack. Tyler’s smirk widened.
“Well, if you have to know…it was Raven herself” Tyler smirked his eyes dancing with glee. Eric gasped he eyes going wide in shocked horror. Tyler smirked as he reached Eric who side stepped trying to get away.
“Bye Eric” Tyler mused as he grabbed Eric’s shoulders. Eric looked back at him and Tyler’s lips curled into a horrid smile. Tyler gripped his shoulder more and pushed Eric sideways causing Eric to fall from the tree. Tyler looked over to see Eric in wolf form on the ground on all fours wincing lightly. Tyler laughed and just jumped landing beside Eric who changed back holding his right arm which looked to be broken. Tyler went in to bite him when an arrow flew past Tyler’s ear hitting the tree right beside him. Tyler and Eric both turned and standing there was Dylan bow and fresh arrow –ready to go- in hand.
“Ah, hello Dylan deary” Tyler smiled and took a step towards her. Dylan tightened her grip on the bow her eyes narrowing.
“Don’t you move! Eric come here!” Dylan snapped and Eric did all but walk to her side relived at her appearance. Dylan –as soon as Eric was in the clear- released the arrow and it hit Tyler in the stomach pinning him to the tree.
“Damn tiger your pretty quick” Tyler smiled and attempted to pull it out. Dylan smirked.
“Don’t bother, there enriched with gillykeeds, only the mermaid who shot it may take it out” Dylan smirked then turned to Eric.
“We have to get back to the Haven, it’s no longer safe” Dylan then took off with Eric at his heels. Eric looked at his broken arm and was going to ask but Dylan seemed to want to get back to the Haven. They went deeper into the forest.
“Dylan….what’s going on!” Eric demanded but she didn’t answer just kept running deeper into the forest. A cynical laughter came from behind them both and they whipped around only to see Tyler.
“B-b-but how!” Eric stuttered eye’s wide in shock.
“Only the mermaid who shot me could take it out” Tyler smirked his eyes dancing again and Eric turned to look at Dylan who was smirking.
“And that only takes effect if I’m actually a mermaid” Dylan laughs cruelly. Eric takes a step away from her his eyes widening more.
“Y-you’re not D-D-Dylan” he stammered back up more. Dylan smirked.
“Your quite right, I’m not” Dylan’s look faltered and changed. Eric nearly screamed in horror at what he saw.
“R-R-Raven!” Eric cried out and Raven laughed looking at his cowering form.
“In the flesh” Raven smirked. Eric stumbled backwards falling over a root. Eric looked up to see Raven walking to him. He tried to move backwards on his arms but yelled out as he grabbed his right arm, which was still painfully broken. Raven knelt down in front of him smirking wickedly.
“No one’s here to Save you Eric” she smirked running a finger down his cheek causing him to shiver and move his head out of the way. Raven smirked cruelly. “Your all alone Eric” She smirked and he looked up at her with disbelief. She leaned in and whispered something into his ear. Eric’s eyes went wide and he put up his hands to push her away. And she smirked letting him. “No Dylan, No Peter, No Jenn. No ones here to stop me” Raven laughed.
“Say’s who?” Snapped a voice. They all turned around and Raven’s eyes narrowed. There stood Dylan, Peter and Jenn. Tyler’s eyes went wide.
“I though you three were detained!” Tyler snapped looking at them dumbstruck. Dylan laughed and Tyler glared at her.
“You think those idiots could stop us? I think you need a new hobby” Jenn laughed and Peter held back a chuckle. Tyler hissed glaring at them all.
“You’re supposed to be a vampire not a cat!” Dylan said and burst out laughing more. Jenn laughed with her and Peter covered his mouth. Tyler went pink as he glared at her.
“Oh I’m shaking in my non existent boots” Dylan and Jenn gave Peter a weird look then they all laughed. Raven growled.
“ENOUGH!” Dylan just laughed at her causing Raven to throw a dagger at her head. Dylan squeaked and ducked.
“HA MISSED!” Dylan yelled and another headed her way. Dylan ducked again and the dagger just missed her. Peter gave her a look that said shut up now while you can still duck. Dylan gave him an innocent look. Raven turned to Tyler.
“Lets go!” Raven snapped and Tyler walked towards her. Dylan looked at Tyler.
“Guess I’ll never get to love you” Dylan said and that caused Tyler to freeze. “Because I can never love someone who works for her” Dylan turns away from him and Tyler looked down then up.
“I would never want you to love me! You’re a back stabbing wench!” Dylan didn’t look back at him hiding her hurt. Tyler then walked up to Raven and they disappeared in a cloud of black. Eric let out a huge breath and looked to see them walking over smiling. Dylan knelt down beside him.
“That was close huh” she smiled and Eric nodded. Peter patted him on the back while Dylan jumped hugged him and Jenn landed on her. Eric yelled as he fell over. They all laughed.
“We should get back” Jenn smiled and everyone nodded.
“I thought I was a goner” Eric smiled as they started walking. Dylan smiled.
“No matter what we stick together, isn’t that what you said?” Dylan said and Eric nodded as he kept pace with her. Dylan smiled brightly at him and Peter patted him on the back as they made there way back.
“Where’s Tyler” Keda asked looking at them and Dylan sighed.
“Raven turned him…he’s a Deslro now” Dylan answered and Keda gasped as the other elders paled. “The haven is no longer safe, you all must move on and stay together.” Dylan ordered and the elders nodded.
“But what about you youngsters?” Coda asked although she already knew the answer.
“We have our own path to follow, one that’s been waiting for us a long time. Wouldn’t want to keep it waiting” Jenn smiled and they nodded once more.
“You’ll do fine, but you must hurry, who knows when Raven will be back” Glada smiled and waved her hand. “Now off with you!” Dylan nodded then turned to everyone else.
“STAY UNITED!!!” she yelled and smiled as they all cheered.5

Dylan stayed a bit longer to watch them all off. Peter Jenn and Eric stood by her side as everyone slowly started to disappear into the woods.
“So what are we going to do now?” Jenn asked as she watched everyone leave and waved to a few. Dylan smirked leaning against a tree.
“Well we sure aren’t going with them” Dylan watched them all look at her with shock.
“But!!! I was only kidding!” Jenn cried and Dylan laughed.
“And just where are WE going to go!” Eric demanded and Dylan chuckled waving her hand as if to dismiss the anxiety in there eyes.
“Where ever our path may take us” Dylan smiled and pushed herself off the tree with her foot.
“I can’t believe were actually heading towards the war, I always thought I’d keep running” Jenn sighed looking up at the sky. Dylan looked at her in puzzlement. “Don’t tell me you actually thought you’d fight in the war”
“I guess not” Dylan smiled and closed her eyes. “But it seems Fate has a different plan for us, lets not disappoint her” they all laughed. Peter looked at Jenn and then yawned deeply.
“Well lets get going, we have to find a non bright spot to sleep so, lets hit the road” Peter smiled and Dylan nodded as they started on the beginning of there already hard journey6

The Path was set and they were on there way. Fate was jumping for joy, for her play was finally coming to life.
