Frustrating to think…1
To wait…2
To dream…3
Anticipating one little sound4
A squeak, a groan, a hiccup5
A snore, a giggle, a snort6
Tiny plump fingers7
Grip on tightly, little toes8
Big yawn from a tiny mouth9
All I see is pink tongue and gums10
What will your voice sound like?11
Will my heart melt?12
When you say 13

Beautiful!
I loved it. The relationship between Mother and child is an essential part of life and this truly displays that.

I've never given birth
but I want to =)
I think it might be one of the best feelings, to know that it's because of you that a new life is there.. and it MUST feel so so so great knowing that you are capable of making your womb home to one of those you will love so much
Haha you can tell I already want a child, aye? Maybe that's why I am still single.. I wouldn't want to go about randomly making babies x.x
Brooke...
thanks for transferring this from AP x.x I don't think I know your profile there, so I might have never seen this

This was really sweet
I never really thought that way when around a baby, but then again, they didn't belong to me
Was very heartfelt and touching.
Great write!

Thanks again for reading my poems. I wrote this when my littlest one was 19 months and I was worried she wouldn't talk. Now she won't be quiet
Guess that's what I get for wishing too hard.
Again thanks
Brooke
