It was almost two in the mourning when Marcus drove into the drive way of the enormous house that was surrounded by weeds. There were no neighbors his “family” that’s what they called them selves but none of them were related they all came from different walks of life they had bought a huge stretch of land that was bought by drug money that was completely isolated. Being surrounded by humans and their sweet smell was far too tempting; some of the vampires where still young. Marcus opened the door to the mansion witch was equipped with its own meth lab in the attic walked to the living room and met eyes with Oz, Sarah, Pandora, Emma, Compton and Alucard all of whom looked extremely bored and they seemed to be alienating each other; no one spoke or even looked at each other their eyes where fixed to the TV. Their skin was white as bone and there deep red eyes almost seemed to glow except Pandora’s of course the youngest looking girl she must have been at lest eleven when she turned she stared at him with two lifeless eyes that held no color, only white. Marcus asked more then once about those eyes she always told the story of how she watched “Grease” on big screen for the first time and slit her eyes to save her self from the awful torment her anecdote changed from one movie to a other “Marko” Pandora sang his nickname when she met eyes with him she crawled on the wall most of the time, this unexplainable talent that each possessed once they were convicted to this life, a prison sentence that lasted for all eternity. 1
“Hay what wrong with every one?” Marcus asked suddenly.2
“They haven’t drunk in a really long time” Pandora replied she had a small innocent voice that did not fit her identity. She was viscous, cruel and she could cuss like a drunken sailor. Then out of no where four-teen sets of eyes sets of eyes were focused on the wall she was creeping on she shot a glance at Marcus he was staring at the wall with his nose just inches away from the ashen wall . Pandora slowly crept to the front door she could hear a heart beat fearfully. It was ether a desperate addict or a child trying to prove to his friends that he was brave enough to knock on the door, she heard small voices; children with the conviction that the house was haunted she also heard a girl pressuring a reluctant boy to knock on the door she was clearly the predominant one. Anna looked at the others they seemed profound to the smell of the children; their eyes where still fix on the wall that separated them from their meal Pandora laughed. They were drooling like dogs with a treat balanced on its nose.3
As the foot steps grew closer Pandora got on her feet and opened the door before the kid even knocked the boy was about twelve years old with a swarthy complexion he had the darkest skin out of all of his friends that hid under thick weeds he froze in shock when the door open before he reached the porch. Pandora let out a bone chilling call that that struck fear in the children’s hearts and they sprinted away as fast as their legs could take them. He and his friends where a good distance away when he tripped and scraped his knee the vampires caught the scent intensely and sprung from the couch 4
“watch the fucking wall!” Pandora snarled but it was to late they where all ready gone in a flash their meal leaving a pile of ruble that was once a wall it was a extremely indigenous act she knew that they would make her pick up the mess that they had made and that made her even angrier.5
She caught up with the others already feasting on the limp bodies of the children. Marcus looked up at her with bloodlust in his eyes and a face covered in blood 6
Pandora was disgusted messy eaters annoyed her “Clean up after you eat please” Pandora said. She used the word "please" Marcus figured she was angry 7
“sorry about the wall” he said “I’ll help you pick it up” he later continued she ignored him and headed him an hatchet that she had buckled around her waist he began to hack of the Childs head before he turned into one of them. Pandora looked to the sky watching the stars sparkle. The sound of the hatchet pounding down on the flesh of the child was extremely gratifying it was the sound of an unexpected but successful hunt if she had air in her lungs and a beating heart she would’ve sighed. She heard the hatchet hit bone and with a loud crack the head was removed .Marcus rolled the head and it stoped at Pandora’s feet.8
“You see that?” he asked with a smile “nice and clean” he was referring to the clean detachment of the head. Anna looked at it closely it was clean but she wouldn’t admit it 9
“I’ve seen better” she replied coldly, Marcus simply laughed. Then Pandora picked up the greasy object by the heir, released it and kicked it before it hit the ground. The distance was excellent. She shook some of the remains off her foot before she contued to gaze at the stars again.10
The kids were right, the place really was haunted. 11
