Stupid english story

“Beep, beep, beep, beep, SLAM!” 1

“Ugh, its morning already? Where are my stupid slippers?”2

I hate mornings, even if day holds a lot of excitement waiting to happen. Today is one of those days; it’s my first day of high school. I guess you could say I was excited and nervous at the same time. 3

After attacking my alarm clock, I got up and took a shower. I had a lot to do today, and a lot of new people to meet, so it would be a pretty good thing if I were clean.4

After my shower, I got dressed. A lot of people spend a whole lot of time deciding what to wear on the first day of school; I on the other hand really don’t care. I will end up wearing all of my clothes throughout the school year. Why do I need to go to the store and buy a new outfit when I have plenty of clothes? 5

Anyway, after getting dressed, I walked downstairs and ate some breakfast. I don’t really eat big breakfasts. After I rummaged through the fridge and cupboards, I decided on a piece of toast with strawberry jam, a tall glass of apple juice, and some vanilla yogurt. Then my dad and brother and sister came downstairs. My dad and sister grabbed some juice and ran out the door. My brother being totally incapable of making himself a bowl of cereal said, “Make me something to eat, or you won’t get to ride with me.” I decided I would like to show up on the first day school, so I poured him a bowl of cereal. Making sure that he would be doing that himself for the rest of the year. After he nosily inhaled he cereal, we left for school. 6

Upon arriving, we got out of the car and into the doors. I searched for my locker, remembering that the freshmen lockers were furthest away from the classrooms. After I found my locker and managed to open the combination, I began looking for my friends in the midst of the other freshmen hopelessly wandering the halls. After I couldn’t find any familiar faces, I began the terrifying journey through the upperclassmen halls. I decided to hide behind the biggest guy I could find, hoping that he would make a path for me. This actually worked out because it turned out that my shield was headed to his locker, which was right by my first class. I kept with this plan for the rest of this day, and it ended up working. For lunch, I finally found my friends; we decided to sit at a table way off in the corner so we wouldn’t get beat up for sitting in someone’s spot. While we were eating, we rehashed our morning. It turns out some of my friends weren’t as lucky as I was, one of my friends couldn’t find her locker so she had to lug her backpack around all day. I told her I would help her find it after school. After lunch, I ran to the next class, barely making it in time. The rest of the day flew by, I was really excited for the rest of the year. It seemed like I had some great classes with some good teachers. Hopefully I would get to know some more people so would have more friends in my classes. Today was a great way to start off the rest of the year.7
