A Dream

The wind howled as she crawled across the snow-covered earth. It blew against her with all its might, all its anger, all its hatred. The earth was all in shambles. Blackened were the skies and the naked trees. A gloomy world was about her, pointing and laughing at her torture, at her pain, her agony. Slowly, ever so slowly, she forced herself to work her way against the deathly chill of night. Alone was she making her journey to freedom. Freedom from what, you may ask. Freedom from fear, loneliness, darkness. Freedom from life. Tears would she shed, but alas none were left from her last cry for freedom. Faint whispers were spoken. Her eyes searched for the origin of those soft words. They grew louder now, still undistinguishable yet louder. And as they grew, so did her fear. She picked herself up to her feet and began to walk quickly, her eyes still searching. Then , the voices grew so loud, she understood. ‘ Run!’ they yelled. ‘ Quick! Run! Flee from here! ‘ Terrified she ran as fast as her legs could take her. Often she fell and often she heard the shrieks of the unknown creatures. 1

‘Run! You must run! Go! Do not tarry! Hasten! Quickly!’ Frantically, she sprinted across the snow. She wanted to cry, to scream, to shout, to shriek. She wanted to disapeer, to be away from this unfriendly world. However, she knew that all she could do was run. ‘They are coming!‘ Yelled the voices. ‘No! You must not let them capture you! Run!’ She knew not what she ran away from, nor what she ran towards. All she knew was that she ran. Suddenly, something grabbed her leg and she tripped and tumbled towards the earth. Frenziedly, she reached out her hands in hopes of securing herself to something. But all was in vain. She contined to roll down the snow and was abruptly stopped as she recieved a  powerful blow to her head. She had only seconds to see hooded beasts surround her. Tusks, tails, claws, horns, fangs, scales, all belonged to them along with blood-shot eyes which glared at her. They hissed and growled deviously. Then, as darkness overcame her, she could only feel them clawing at her body and then she felt nothing. She saw nothing. She heard nothing.2

Author notes

Not really a story, just a dream i had put into my own words.  However, I wrote this in like 6th grade so it's really bad.
