LoVe aT FiRsT SiGhT (part 1)

It was a beautiful fall day, the leaves were just turning red, and the wind was gently blowing.  The bus pulled up to Cactus High right as the first bell rang.  The minute the doors opened students flowed out and towards their first classes.  Adrian Kraiger was the second to last off the bus as she prefered to sit in the back.  She automatically walked to the flag pole where Karyn was waiting for her. 1

"Hey!  New bus driver?"2

"No we had to get gas." Adrian replied as she laughed.  As they walked past the office she noticed a tall, dark, very handsome teenage boy filling out papers with a woman who he resembled.  He glanced up and smiled as she walked out of view.3

"Hey!  What were you staring at?"4

"A really hot guy in the office!"5

"How come you didnt tell me?!?"6

Adrian laughed response, "Come on, we're gonna be late!"7

"So do you think he was registering?"  Karyn asked Adrian once they were in math class.9

"I hope so!"  The girls laughed together as Mr. Howards walked into the room.10

"Ok, ok quiet!  Sorry Im late, but it seems we have a new student!"  It wasnt until he said that that the girls noticed the tall, dar, very handsome boy standing in the doorway.11

"Holy crap."  Karyn whispered.12

"Thats him!"  Adrian exclamed.13

"Come in, come in!"  Mr. Howards said to the boy.  "Class, this is Cory Mavery."  Instantly Karyn opened her notebook to the back and wrote the name Cory in a big heart, next to many other names.14

"You added him to your 'hottie page' already?!?"  Adrian asked.15

"Heck yeah!  Look at him!" 16

"Cory, why dont you take the desk in front of Adrian and Karyn.  Girls will you raise your hands so Cory knows who you are?"  Karyn stuck her hand straight up in the air instead of her usual little wave.  Adrian laughed out loud.  Math would definately be interesting today.17
