I couldn't really believe the doctor, but yet again he was a doctor. My mom's doctor, he was suppose to make sure she got better. For her to come home with me and play UNO all night long. Like we did before she got cancer. Yet here he was, telling me she died in her sleep the night before. 1
I did what any other teenaged girl would do, hit him over and over then ran out crying. I ran to my dad's grave in font of our home. I ran for forty minutes. But that fact kept a steady pace with me all the way. I collapsed and just bawled even harder. 2
My grandma came out, tears streaming down her face. She had gotten the news as well. We both sat their and cried.
