Last night I had a dream.. There I was in an open field under a storm. I suddenly heard a dark voice that scared me shitless. It continuously said, "master the craft. master the craft. Come deeper in" I got curious and scared at the same time. I looked ahead of the storm and saw that if I went it deeper I would walk into total darkness. I started to walk slowly. Each step I took I felt more and more empty. It was like my spirit was dieing. Then from behind me a warm hand was placed on my shoulder and that warmth spred through my entire body. Then a comforting voice spoke and said, "Stop! Get out! I got scared but yet felt like this voice was trying to protect me. Then he whispered in my ear, "Power doesn't come from nature... Power comes from me... Get out before its too late.. There is no god in hell.." Then I heard the cold voice from before scream at me, "Master the craft and it will give you power!" I then saw some candles and in mid air one of the spells I have used quite often.. The evil voice said, "Protect yourself from this liar! Master the craft and nature will give you power!" I then saw a shadow standing in front of me. It started to come closer. I got scared and backed away. It sped up and was right in front of me. It held out a white crystal necklace and yelled, "Master the craft!" I turned to face the warm voice. Nothing was there and I started to panic. Then I turned to face back to this evil shadow that was in front of me. He was no longer there as well... I then heard a whisper from the warm voice that said, "Where do you want to spend eternity..".. I woke up.

This was a really strange dream I had... I was a Wiccan but.. maybe not anymore... This dream really has me thinking.. What do you think?

Oh my... this might sound kinda strange to you, but you were being tempted by Satan. He wants you to master the craft because he wants you on his side. Witchcraft is very real and very dangerous. If you decide to go in deeper into that kind of spiritual realm you will be entering into that dark abyss. You will feel that emptiness, sadness, coldness, hatred, anger, and darkness.
Now this other voice that was trying to protect you from that darkness was either God, or an angel warning you to turn away from that. Listen to this voice! I'm telling you!
We all face battles everyday! There are spiritual battles, believe it or not. ... now that last statement, "Where do you want to spend eternity." ... It's your choice. -
Definitely Means Something
This one dream has so much meaning in it that I had trouble reading it all without passing out. Contrary to the majority of the other comments, I believe this dream was pure divine intervention. What really spoke out to me was 'Where do you want to spend eternity.'

If you want my opinion, I say maybe that was your subconscious mind bringing to surface some kind of inner conflict that has been going on in your heart. Its hard for me to say, because I am loyally devoted to god, but hey, Life works in strange ways, and so does he. I say follow your heart. Ask yourself why you wanted to be wiccan. Is it because that is truly truly what you felt was the way things are, or is it because you wanted somthing new, that you feel you can actively participate in without having to blindly follow your faith alone. Religion is a battle many teeneagers have to fight, and unfortunatly, It needs to be fought alone with the exeption of encouraging words from your friends, or it will never end. Just truly look into your soul and think which one feels right.
But as your friend... and maybe because I do believe in god as well... Keep in mind the pssibility that maybe this means that you will not have to follow it blindly anymore, Maybe... just baybe that was him calling out to you. If that is the case, he also showed that he was not angry. Just... Think this over carefully... please tell me what you dicide on.

ok, i dont think you should question yourself as a wiccan. i think this was mearly a reminder to stay true to who you are, keep your values, and keep your friends close. i think the warm voice represents your friends and jeff, just reminding you that they are there and will help you if you get lost. we'll be there to help you no matter what and through anything. remember that mel.

Maybe thats what it is Sam. But doesn't it seem at all like a message to you? It seemed really real.. My dreams usually only seem that real if they mean something or if they're something that happened in the past.. I think it may be best to turn to the christian god.. In the dream it was like the warm voice was god and the cold voice was the devil luring me. so idk

I think it was a message and sometimes dreams seem real, I know I've had my fair share. Dreams may see real for a number of reasons. If you feel that you should turn to christianity, then by all means, go for it. But if the cold voice was the devil, then it's just confirming that this is devil worship, which we both know for a fact, it is not, it a bond between someone and nature. You don't have to master the craft to be close to nature. Just do what you think is right, I'll be with you no matter what you choose Mel.

I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do yet Sam. But maybe wicca is somehow connected to the devil. I'm not sure. My heart is telling me to change but my mind is telling me to continue. Thanks for sticking with me. Your a great friend

Ok, to start from the beginning, i would say the voice was missing authority in your life...or perhaps fear of authority. The empty feeling could actually be a good thing...in dreams, being empty is a way of your body releasing negative energy in waves.
The warm hand on your shoulder was a spark of reality, pulling you back from the subtle release.
I think the fact that the voice was demanding your attention with believing they were the powerful one could be a conflict in your religion. Perhaps you subconciously feel that by being wiccan, you are somehow shunning simple christianity.
Seeing a shadow in a dream is a slight symbol of confusion in some aspect in your life. Perhaps something that is not settled yet and you are confused about exactly how to finish it.
Being scared and running is also a good thing in dreams. Another physical release for your subconcious mind. You may not feel that way now, but this dream is full of positives as well as negatives.
I think perhaps the bottom line is this was a releasing dream that brought into play some confusion about your religious beliefs. The authority figure in the dream to me seems to be the voice driving your confusion.
THis is just my opinion and i am truely sorry if i am way off. I wouldn't let it worry you though, dreams are usually positive, despite their visions. They are good for the mind and spirit.
THis is positive. And to remember it so clearly shows a creative mind that lives on subconcious vision.

well, i can't help you make the decision on Wiccan or Christian. I'm honestly both. I believe in God and am saved, but I've taken up a lot of wiccan beliefs, as well. this is kind of a strange dream, but it does seem like a message of some sort. i'm not sure if it's what it seems or if there's an underlying message. maybe a fear of yours?

It is actually a fear of mine that I'm wrong about wicca and end up in hell.. The last words spoken from that dream.. "Where do you want to spend eternity".. That really bothered me.. Also because the dream seemed so incredibly real..

well, as it's a fear of yours, your dream is probably showing you that that you fear most in its essence. maybe it's trying to tell you exactly what it says, or maybe it's letting you live out your fears in your dream.
