It was a tenement house in Glasgow Scotland 1
It only had one bedroom a living room a kitchen and a bathroom but it was a cosy house and my parents welcomed all my friends and the friends of my three sisters and two brothers all at different times of course or it might have burst at the seams. 2
We all had to take turns watching the tv as there wasnt room for us all at once. The oldest went first so when it was my turn me being the youngest I had usually fallen asleep. 3
We ate in the living room all together at a large table that was the length of the room, my brother broke his toe one night when he kicked it accidentally while trying to go to the toilet. The table had a different coloured centre piece each day Mum loved colour and our house reflected that with red and white wall paper with splashes of gold all over it . We had to wear sunglasses in the living room it was so bright. 4
There wasn't much soundproofing in the house, the neighbour above used to bless us when we sneezed and that was pretty frequent as we caught the cold a lot because if one turned over in the bed at night another would fall out onto the cold floor. Yes it was a small house but we loved it. 5

Dear Writer,
This made me chuckle when I read it...I remember an apartment I once lived in where I could hear my neighbors breathe.
Your idea of "home" is clearly about people and memories- shared experiences- families.
I hope you had as much fun writing as I did reading.
