Just some brainstorming

Prologue:1

I heard the words loud and clear. I was in denial. Had to be. It couldn’t be real. No everything had to be fake. That’s what happened in movies, not in real life. No. It can’t be. It’s impossible. Why now? I’m only a girl.. Too young to loose anyone.2

Chapter one:3

I was in the hospital. Waiting, just waiting. I was with my mom, my dad. My friend, she had cancer. She was my best friend. I could tell her everything, anything. She would never laugh at me, she would never judge. She would care and help me. Spoke to me and told me everything was alright. So where was she now? I exactly knew where I was when I first heard the news. I was in the living room with my parent’s. My dad watching football, my mom and I playing a game. My cell phone started vibrating. I was confused, most of my friends were out of town. Still I picked it up.4

“Hello?” I asked.5

“Yes, Ariel” crying “I have terrible news”6

I was concerned “What?”7

“She-she… the cancer spread!” through tears. 8

I started crying. “Is Melina ok?”9

“I don’t know. The doctor hasn’t told me where the cancer spread to.” “The doctor is here, I got to go. Bye. Ariel can you come up right now? I really think she needs you.”10

“Yeah, of course.”11

“Thanks. Bye”12

“Bye”13

“Honey, what’s wrong” my mother asked cautiously.14

“Melina’s cancer spread.” I said through sobs “mom you have to take me to hospital now.” I said15

“Kay, getting ready”16

“Thanks.”17

And that’s where I was now. Melina’s mother came out.19

“She wants to see you Ariel.” her eyes blank, her hair uncombed.20

“Kay” I walked to her room. She didn’t look well. Her skin as pale as Casper the ghost. Her eyes dull and dark bags formed under her eyes. Her skin, ice cold. Where was her life?21

“Hey Melina” I said quietly.22

“Hi” her voice raspy.23

“How are you feeling?”24

“I’m so sorry Ariel.”25

“Sorry for what?”26

“I won’t make it.” she paused “I know I won’t.”27

“Stop talking like that!” I was getting irritated, but I continued “look I’m sorry, but you will Melina, I know you will. Where is your faith?”28

“Melina, it, it went to my brain.”29

We were both crying.30

“Melina, you will, you will! God won’t take you Home now, He won’t!”31

“It’s time though, it’s time.”32

“You will survive!”33

“I’m not so sure, but hey, I’m getting very tired, this medicine is making me doze off, come tomorrow, okay?!”34

“Of course, I love you like a sister.”35

“Me too.”36

And with that my friend feel asleep.
