I want to be your mulberry tree

There we lay under the1

red berries of the mulberry tree2

as we look into each others eyes3

which are saying, 4

You are my everything.5

The berries grow and as do we6

but we wont let go of the7

branches that keep us together.8

When we do, we will 9

fall as one.10

I hold you tight because11

I never want to let go.12

I want to be the branch that13

keeps you from falling.14

Author notes

I chose the mulberry tree because there is a old Greek love story about that tree.
