It's Not Possible: Part 8 (End of the test.)

A few minutes has passed, when Josh finally came to. Vision blurry from the water that gathered in his eyelids. His body ached as he pulled himself up. His eyes took a while to adapt to the darkness. The room covered him with darkness and silence. Josh mumbled, "Where am I?"1

His eyes shot behind him after a sudden noise. He pulled himself on his feet, and searched the room. His breathy grew heavy, and his heart raced. Please, not another clone. That same noise turned behind him. He kept turning to where the noise came from, than suddenly grew dizzy. Planting his feet into the ground, waiting for the outcome. The room fell silent again. Gathering all his courage, he bellowed, "All right! Come out!" 2

He was suddenly grabbed by his shoulder. Not seeing who did it made him squeal. He shouted in a high pitched voice, arms flaring, and rapidly saying, "Don'tkillme!I'mtoyoungtodie!!!"3

Another voice was heard through all his cries for help, "Jeez, Josh. I didn't know you were such a girl." He turned to see Matt. Josh was relieved to see Matt's bright face again. Matt gave him a sheepish grin, but that face was replaced with a fist. He fell flat on his butt, rubbing his sore cheek, "What did I do?"4

Josh growled, "Don't sneak up on me like that!" Wrapping his arms around his chest, he let out a humph. Matt giggled. He let out a silent moan as he brought himself back on his feet, than dusted himself off. Josh was tempted to push him back down.   5

Matt asked, "What do you think the next test will be?"6

Josh mumbled under his breath, "How do I know you aren't the test?" Matt raised an eyebrow of questioning. Josh smiled, "Nothing. We should get moving." Matt nodded in agreement.7

They kept walking in the everlasting darkness, with only the sound of their steps. Josh shot a look at Matt, then turned back. He whispered, "How do we get out of here?" Josh dazed into his own world. That would be embarrassing. To die during a test. How would I know if that girl is Tiassale? He sighed.8

Matt noticed the disturbance in Josh. He tried to chear him up with a smile. Josh only looked up, then trailed his eyes back down. Matt's smile was replaced by pitiful eyes. Josh is probably upset about Tiassale. If only I could do something. It's that dang Zort's fault! Why did I ever agree to this?! Why did I let him live?! Dang you Zor.....Matt was caught short from his speech in his mind. He turned to face a white spotlight, revealing two white spheres. Matt tapped Josh, "Look! We are almost out of here." Josh looked, than ran right behind Matt. 9

The white balls rested on two mini tables. Matt pointed at them, "These are those things that teleports us to certain places." That has confirmed Josh that he is Matt. 10

Matt reached for one of the balls, but was tugged back by Josh. Matt gave Josh a "what" kinda look. Josh pointed at this paper that was in his hand, "There's a note."11

Matt rubbed the tension that absorbed into the back of his neck, "Well, read it then."12

Josh nodded, then followed every word with his eyes. He began, "To open the right door, you have to have to choose the right path." Both Matt and Josh looked at each other to see if the other could possibly know what the note meant. No one uttered a word. They just shrugged their shoulders, and reread over the note.13

Matt spoke up, "Maybe, one of these ball, thingy, can take us back to Zort." Josh rolled his eyes. Matt thumped his hand with his head like Winnie The Poo, "Think. Think."14

Josh folded his arms behind his back, and paced back and forth. Josh snapped his fingers, "
Ah-ha!"15

Josh startled Matt so bad, that he pounced two feet off the ground. Matt spat, still trying to remain calm, "What!?"16

Josh snickered, "It's kindergarten, Matt. We have to choose the right ball to go where we need, right?" Matt growled, but nodded. Josh formed his hands towards the mini tables, "There are two balls. One's on the left side, and one's on the...?' Josh paused, waiting for Matt's brain to click.17

Matt smiled, "And one's on the right!" Josh let out a sly grin. Matt reached his hand down over the ball on the right, "Then we pick the ball on the right." Before Matt's palm was against the surface of the ball, Josh grasped his arm. Once again, they were being transported.18

In a snap of a finger, they were right on the floor, being coated by a shadow none other than Zort's. He held his grin, as he stared down at them. His deep voice broke the silence, "Had fun?" He leaned down, resting his hands on his legs, and let out a dark laugh.
