Black satin hides the camera
Smiles fill the lonely room
Flashlights mask the darkness
Buckles clamp their ankles
Heels made for restriction
A finger on the the button
Mist hides the windows
Fabric hides their bodies
“One minute,” they are calling
Nothing left for preparation
Women gather around
The tight space of constriction
Voices rise and wander
Taking their own places
Their hands intertwine
Smiles that are painted on
Hair blows from the fans
Backdrops are positioned
The lights are dulling now
Eyes in one direction
Staring blank, emotionless
There's no where else to look
Men stand side by side
Cameras are positioned
Curtains are drawn
Brushing away the crowd
Trapped behind a veil
Counting down the minutes
Time is passing
Eyes are straying
The satin is drawn back
Lenses are adjusted
Clothes pulled from behind
Assistance disappearing
Buckles are tightened
Polish on the skin
No time for mistakes
Heels scrap on the floor
Impatience is abundant
Laces are now drawn
Discomfort is looming
In a minute passing by
A finger on the button
Flashes tame the room
The curtains are drawn back
Left to the humming of prosperity

An excellent example of a poem vignette - you've painted the scene with these 'snapshot' strokes - much like the camera that these models must pose in front of. You have captured the essence of the moment and then distilled it for your readers.
Well done! Thank you for your entry in Walk A Day in These Shoes and good luck!
