Twilight~Part 2

"I have SO gotta get myself out of this place!" I exclaimed as I opened a small, pearl coloured gate. When I walked through it though, my surroundings were a big city, with skyscrapers touching the vast amount of clouds scattered across the amber coloured sky. People with silver clothes on walked about on the sidewalks, while cars hovering slightly above the ground drove, or should I say, flew around.1

"Hovering cars?" I whispered in awe as I walked along the sidewalk, tripping over my silver dress, "I also need to get this STUPID dress off!" 2

"You cannot take off your dress until you leave this world," said a voice behind me. I turned around to see the star goddess again, this time with a small box in her hand.3

"Not you again!" I said, walking faster to get away from her, "I thought I'd wished you to buzz off!"4

"So many questions, so many answers," replied the goddess as she suddenly appeared next to me.5

"I didn't even ask a question," I started walking faster, "And anyway, if you are here to ask me to help you with this stupid curse, the answer is no. Get it?"6

"Twilight, all you have to do is make a wish!"7

"If it's that simple, then do it yourself!"8

"I can't!" exclaimed the goddess, which made me stop, "Listen, Twilight, there was once a legend. A dreadful curse was placed by a demon, a beast that lived in a cave darker than the world without a sun, that survived on flesh. This curse was placed on Twilight, and at that time, when the curse was placed, a baby girl was born, named..."9

"Twilight," I slowly interrupted. I paused for a second, then said, "But how can it be me? I mean, how am I supposed to break this stupid curse put on by a demon who survives on flesh? I'm fourteen! Do you expect that I have some sort of power?"10

"Are you going to help us?" Said the goddess, ignoring what I'd said.11

"I don't know," I replied, "I mean, this is all going too fast! I enter, this magical world, and then I'm suddenly asked to break this curse!"12

"Twilight, everything happens in this world faster than it seems. Especially for me...look, if you are going to help us, then take this," The goddess handed me a small, purple box, "In this box is a necklace. Wear it to protect yourself. Anything could try and hurt you."13

"But why-" I stopped when I saw that the goddess had disappeared again. I opened the box and saw a beautiful necklace, with a silver chain and on it, a pitch black stone, darker than this tale, but what also seemed as bright as the sun. As I put it around my neck, I found myself in a place that is too deadly to discribe, which tells the second part of my tale.
