if my bestie wrote my obituary

"my best friend was Taylor meadows. as a writer, she would've liked to write her own obituary, yet no one knew that cows become hostile when you poke them repeatedly. however, i've done my best to capture every aspect of this remarkable girl, and hopefully you will remember her as i do.1

Taylor was always random. she loved life and wanted everyone to know it. she used to dance and sing and skip down the hallway in our school, and to my horror, would scream my name from the other end and tell me she loved me. before, i would walk to her and call her a loser and tell her to stop embarrassing me. meanwhile she would just grin like a toddler with crayons and a white wall. now i would give anything to hear her high-pitched voice call out once more. 2

Taylor was also very... gregarious. she loved people and everyone she met was a possible future friend. people loved her also, as demonstrated by her numerous friends and ex-boyfriends. she never looked down on anyone because of their income or skin color or blood. she believed everyone was worth something, and wanted the world to see her vision too.3

she loved to make up stupid and random stories with sarah, and share her true stories with our group. she was verbose and complicated everything. she made you want to see what she saw. 4

although she was attractive, she was never conceited. her biggest concern when it came to guys was, 'is he dating me for my looks?' she rarely dressed up, and never took herself too seriously. weight wasn't her biggest concern, as long as she was healthy. 5

quick to forgive, but never forgetting, she had few enemies. many people did Taylor wrong, yet she gave them chance after chance. her heart was broken by many people because of this, but she always wiped the tears from her eyes and told me it made her stronger.6

this is how i'll remember my bestie forever.the pretty girl with a loving heart. never judgemental unless you were evil. sweet but strong and always ready with a new adventure. comical and sometimes loud, always noticed in a crowd. too big of a person to live in this small town. always trying to get out, but never wanted to leave her loved ones behind. 7

now that she's left us, we can only wonder what we might've seen from her in the future. she always wanted to leave a mark on someone's life, and i hope she hears me when i say, she touched mine and it shall never be the same."
