After my mom leaves for court, I head over to Damien's place. He answers the door and lets me in. We sit on his couch and watch Fuse, make out for awhile and start to watch Pirates of the Caribbean. I curl up next to Damien and lay my head on his chest. He puts his arm around my shoulder.1
I kiss his jaw and he faces me, kissing me again, starting one kiss before ending the first one. I smile, feeling my cheeks get hot. This was always the thing that I giggled about before getting interested in boys, the things that scared me and grossed me out before, I was now doing. It was strange but exciting.2
Alex was going to flip.3
His fingers skate across my stomach and I giggle. He kisses my neck and I feel his hand curl around my breast. A bolt of panic shoots through my veins.4
"Wait!" I shout.5
He sits up and stares at me, "s'wrong?" He asks.6
I can tell he's bummed, "we just need to hold it a little." I say breathlessly. I didn't want to stop but at the same time, I knew that I had to. "I'm sorry," I add.7
He smiles and kisses my forehead, "it's alright. If you're not ready for it then you're not ready for it." He tells me. 8
I nod and suggest that we go over to Alex and Jordan's house. We drive over and knock on the door, Alex answers with a glass of orange juice in her hands. She lets us in and we sit down, she has Otep playing and I tap my foot with the drums. 9
I see her staring at me softly for a minute, and clears her throat. "'Rach, can I talk to you for a sec?" I nod and my stomach turns cold. We tell Jordan and Damien to chill downstairs for a minute and I follow her into the bathroom. She closes the door and faces me, "OK, spill."10
I raise an eyebrow at her, "what?"11
She rolls her eyes and pulls me to the bathroom mirror, there's a HICKEY on my neck. "That." She says with a small grin. 12
I see myself blush furiously in the mirror, "I-uh-it-hmm-well..." I sputter. 13
Alex chuckles, "when did you get it?" She asks.14
I shrug, "probably today...uh, things got a little-intense."15
Her face drops, "you didn't-"16
"No, no we didn't. But we almost did, kinda sorta...I stopped him." She looks as though a huge weight has been lifted off of her shoulders and she smiles. "You didn't honestly think I would sleep with him did you?" I ask quietly, afraid that Damien can hear. "I mean, he's my boyfriend and everything but, I'm definately not ready for THAT kind of commitment. Plus...I'm afraid." I add, blushing.17
She grins and hugs me, laughing gently, "it's alright, let's go before he thinks we abandoned him." She says. I nod and we go back downstairs, into the living room where Jordan and Damien are still listening to music patiently. 18
I sat down next to Damien on the couch and put my arm around his waist. He rested his arm on my shoulder and I shook some hair down to hide the hickey. I wonder how long it will take for it to go away...19

lol,this is not a bad chapter! i love it! i'll try and work on mine sometime soon, but i'm gonna be busy today and this weekend so *shrugs*. anyway, a hicky usually takes about 3 days to a week to disappear, depending on how big it is and how hard the guy sucked. just thought you might like that info
