Martin's Experience

One day Martin the squirrel was walking home from work, which for him was organising birthday parties for little kids.1

He was just thinking about what sort of games should be played at one particular birthday bash- would butting the pinyhata be too dangerous- when a purple unicorn jumped on him.2

It pinned Martin down with one hoof and pointed it's horn at his throat threateningly.3

'Give me some money!'the unicorn whinnied.4

'I d-don't have any,'Martin shakily replied.5

'Time to die then, squirrel!'6

The unicorn was just about to plunge it's horn into Martin's throat, when-7

'Thadeus! Dinner's ready, pumpkin!'a female voice called from somewhere down the street.8

'Coming, Mother!'Thadeus replied. 'I'll get ya next time.'He told Martin.9

The unicorn galloped away, leaving the shaken squirrel alive.10

Since that terrifying experience, Martin has started an online support group for creatures who have been attacked on the streets, and now carries a powerful taser for security.11

Looking back, Martin thanks the unicorn for making himself realise that he was at high risk of being the victim of violence
