Magic of Love

I wanted the magic of love again,1

the look of longing in your eyes,2

i wanted to feel i was wanted,3

Held in your arms,4

Loved deep inside.5

I want the time that you gave me,6

The smile that stopped my only tears,7

I needed you to hold me,8

Let me know,9

You'd chased away my fears.10

And then i realised something,11

That i can be just as strong,12

I can take on the world,13

At my own grasp,14

In my own time.15

And now i realise i love you,16

But its a different kind of love,17

No-one will replace you,18

take me as you did, 19

And treat me as whole.20

I want the magic of love again,21

But now I'll make it on my own.....22

    This is great, a wonderful statement of independence and strength. A woman should be able to take care of herself, and not depend on a man to carry her, even if she loves him. Great write
