Stormson pt 7

Talon muttered something about a giant banana while his hand lashed out to hit whatever cold thing had decided to settle in his ear. Sabor yipped and nipped his ear when his hand landed with a thud. He made a final swipe before looking up and apologetically rubbing his head. He looked to his right and let out a grown. She was gone again.1

He looked at Sabor with loathing, but he just sat there thumping his tail on the ground. Clearly he didn't come to tell him Alora was in danger, so that was a plus. Talon's muscles let out a grown in protest as he sat up and put on his boots.2

Alora giggled, waiting in the bushes next to Sabora. It really shouldn't be this much fun but it WAS. Baiting Talon had to be the high point of every day. It was just so CUTE to see him try and assert his authority. It really was. 3

A hand shot out and covered her mouth. This wasn't Talon. She glanced down at Sabora who stood stock still with her teeth bared. Alora's eyes widened with shock. Sabora hadn't heard him.4

"So what's a cute little pet like you doing out here?" He whispered into her ear. Alora shivered. No one wandered into the woods without the wolves' consent, and by the smell of him, he didn't come from the City. A brief look at his hand set her eyes so wide she thought they might explode. The orange stone; Talon had told her a story about Saro's mate and such a thing, but she's only half believed him. By all the Gods he didn't need permission. He WAS one of the wolves. "You like it, pet?" He asked. She couldn't tell if he'd seen the rcognition in her eyes. "It is a very pretty thing, I must admit. Great when you need something...extra." Alora trembled and reached out for Sabor. He knew about Sabora, but no one expected...5

Alora's mind went blank. She counldn't feel anything. Not Sabor, Sabora, nor any in the wookds around her. "Now who would you want to call anyways? Look at that lovely there." He pointed to Sabora. "She's all you need. Now, what are you doing in my woods?"6

Alora spat in his hand. "The Lady sent us."7

He raised an eyebrow, and his hand moved down to search through her cothes. Alora fought for a moment before a look from him stopped her. He was checking to see if the Lady had sent her a token to get her through the woods. And she'd left it in the camp. /Stupid, stupid stupid.../8

This was also the time where Alora noticed the wolf-man was naked. She looked away. It's not like she's never seen a naked man before. Gods knew that Talon had interrupted more than one...encounter were she had been with one of the boys from the City. Hell, up until they were in their preteens Talon and she weren't modest in each other's presence...9

Finding nothing, he looked up at her with a grim smile and said "Well pet, it seems..."10

There was a howl and the world began to spin.
