Conchy the Magical Christmas Conch Shell1

Well hi there my dear, dear friends. 3

I come to you today with another brand new creation, I promise you that it won’t give you the bends. 4

I call him “ Conchy the magical Conch Shell ” 5

Did you know that a great ,may religions use the conch shell as a means of getting their followers out to a gathering.6

And in many cultures, it used as a means of ascending.7

I want to tell you about a little conch shell, named Conchy, who possed magical powers, and could grant anybody one special wish, but only at Christmas time.8

Well, it was early one Christmas morning when Conchy, woke from a deep sleep, that heard the churchbells in the town start to chime.10

Well naturally he thought, “ Oh my it’s Christmas Day, I’d better get a move on and grant some people their Christmas wishes, before the Grand Conch Shell cites me for slacking off.11

So slowly he stated off for the nearby beach, in hopes of finding some early swimmers to grant some wishes too,12

and he began to cough.13

Well he coughed so hard that he surprised a group of swimmers by the shore.14

He startled them even more when he called out to them over the ocean’s roar.15

“ Hi there, ” he said in as loud a shell voice as he could muster.17

“ My name is Conchy, and I am going to grant each of you one special Chritmas wish for helping me out this morning. ”18

“ Wow ! ” said Peter a member of the lucky group of swimmers, “ I don’t believe it. Whatever shall we all wish for, ” He said in a voice that quivered with excitement !19

Well they all put their heads together and here’s the list of Christmas wishes they made out.20

We wish for peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.21

We wish for no person to go to bed hungry tonight or any other night.22

We wish for all mankind to treat each other with respect and love.23

And finally they wished for a nice Merry Christmas for themselves and their families.24

Conchy was so impressed by the quality of the groups wishes that he granted the all instantly.25

The group walked home smiling broadly, and even Conchy swam back to his hole smiling happily.26
