Bruises: Part 2

"You don't have to call, anymore, I won't pick up the phone..." sang my laptop. As I gazed upon my AIM buddy list, the screen name I wanted so badly to see was not there. A void in my happiness. When I thought of him, my stomach sank. That butterfly feeling you get when the inevitable has finally found you.1

"This is the last straw, don't want to hurt anymore..."2

I've told myself too many times that I didn't love him. I swore on a stack of Seventeen magazines, I promised everyone I knew. But somehow, my own knowledge had deceived me. All that I knew flipped and flopped around and around, taking me with it. Such a person shouldn't exist. Somebody who makes your body turn inside out, your senses spark with a fire that is not found out in nature.3

"You're not sorry, no no no..." 4

He wasn't. I had sinking feeling that he knew from the beginning that I wore my heart on my sleeve and did a fantastic job of hiding it. But how he looked at me, how he grabbed my hand... too much to bear. If I should be ignored at all, it should have been when we hadn't met. Like it was before. Now it seems that he is avoiding me for the sake of both of us... or maybe just so I don't go insane.5

Time heals all wounds, right?

Ohhh. That's a really emotional part and I think you wrote it with enough passion to make it sound...believable and sincere (I feel like I've been using that word a lot). I love this part:
"I swore on a stack of Seventeen magazines, I promised everyone I knew."
Also the heart of the sleeve expression has always been one of my favorites.
