Crashed

The spaceship sped across the atmosphere, obviously in trouble, leaving a trail of black smoke across the clear blue sky and crashed into the barren rocks. Then, carving out a groove a mile long, gradually came to a halt. Rising a tide of dust and debris that gradually cleared to reveal a shallow crater. All that was left was a circle of silver dulled by the impact.1

“what was that?”2

“never saw anything like it boss”3

“lets take a look, Kai you take Neve and Lai'd up on that ridge and cover us, lets surround it and do a level 2 detail.”4

“ok boss”5

“that ok with you sir?” 6

the starship captain looked at the rouge who was in charge and nodded. 7

“ok men, lets go”8

A hatch, in what was now the side of the crashed ship, opened. Smoke poured out and with it came voices.9

The men silently, surrounded the only visible part of the ship, some in uniforms all with their weapons at the ready.10

Two girls climbed out of the hatch apparently oblivious to the danger they where in,and started to climb out of the crater. 11

“I knew that green light was flashing for a reason”12

“then why didn't you do something about it”13

“do you think you could have done a better job?”14

“probably”15

they both laughed at each other.16

One of the girls looked at the people surrounding them her blue hair catching the two suns that orbited the planet.17

“We've got company”18

the other girl smiled and added in a whisper, hidden behind her hand “and there mostly men”19

“you have a one track mind”20

they reached level ground and the blue haired girl cocked her head to one side. She looked at the men with her hands defensively on her hips. The other girl, tossed her blond waves over her shoulder and stood next to her.21

The rouge leader sighed and lowered his weapon and walked over to the girls closely followed by the starship captain and his first officer. 22

The men followed his lead and lowered there weapons to.23

“Daniel! I knew there was a reason i landed on this planet” said the blue haired girl, raising her hands in a welcoming gesture.24

“crashed you mean” said the other girl smiling25

the blue haired girl waved her hand dramatically “details, details”26

“what are you doing with a Gre'an warship?” said Daniel 27

the starship captain looked confused “you know these two?”28

“yes, there not the enemy, just trouble”29

another figure climbed out of the crashed ship momentarily causing all weapons to be raised again until a nod from Daniel made them reconsider. The men, seemingly bored, started to wander of in the direction of there camp. 30

“we'll the engines blown and we've no energy left in the crystals” said the newcomer, standing on top of the ship he looked around and nodded at Daniel, his eyes lingering on the weapon “Whats going on here? Not another warrant for your arest eh lily?” he looked at the blue haired girl playfully31

“no, no “ she said innocently then looked at Daniel, her face creasing with concern ”right?”32

“no not his time” said Daniel and she slapped him on the back causing him to stager.33

“good good,” she turned him round and started to walk away “ you got anything to drink?”34

“will you tell me where you got this ship from then?” he said, letting her lead him.35

“nope”36

the other girl added “you really don't want to know any way” She linked arms with the handsome first officer “so whats your name then?”37
