Teenage Suicide (Part 4)

The next day at school, Clare was talking to Marci and Jennifer came up to Clare and said, “Hey I need to talk to you Clare about this weekend.”:  Clare turned to Jennifer and said,” alright. What is going on about this weekend? It’s my brother’s party. Are you still going to come?” Jennifer said to her, “yes I am still going to come with you. But there is one problem. What time does it start because it’s my cousin’s birthday and I need to go but I can cancel it if you want me too?” Clare nodded her head and said, “well babes I need to go talk to Marci about her cousin’s party that is coming up next week and well since her cousin likes me I think I’ll hook up with him (he’s such a cutie) but anyways I’ll see you later byes babes.”  Jennifer waved bye.  Marci said to Clare, “what party are you guys talking about?”   Clare was like, “oh I’m setting her up. She is going to leave her cousin’s party for my “brother’s party” oh my god what a dumb ass bitch, my brother is throwing a party like in a month but I told her it’s this weekend so she is going to Rock-The-Club this weekend for the party. But since it will be open for open microphone I know I’ll be there and no one else will but I will have her one precious boy toy Joshua there and well we’ll be getting it on. If you get what I’m saying.” Marci just had a great big smile on her face and just laughed.1

Later on that day, Jennifer was just about to head off to class and Marci came up to her and told her Clare wanted to see her in the girl’s room. So she headed off to the girls bathroom.  Clare said, “Oh my god Jennifer guess who is going to the party this weekend?”  Jennifer was like a little shocked and said, “Who?”  Clare was like, “well I guess you can’t be flirting that night since your boy toy Joshua will be going. My brother thought it would be cool to invite him.” Jennifer smiled and said, “Sweet I guess.”  Clare pulled something out of her bag and said, “Do you want a hit?”  Jennifer looked at her and was like, “if you get caught we could get suspended and I can’t have that on my file.”  Clare was like, “Oh Jennifer your just over reacting grow up we wont get caught trust me I have done this many times.”  Jennifer was like, “yeah I tend to do that a lot sure hand that over to me chick.”  Clare handed over and they were all smoking up in the bathroom.  2

Later on that day, last block of their school day.  The announcements went over the intercom and Jennifer got called to the office.  She was supposed to talk to the principal about something that has happen that day.  Jennifer got so worried and was wondering how come she got called in but not the others.  She whispered to herself, “I’m just over reacting I need to stop this.”  The secretary said, “Jennifer honey you may see the principal now.” So she walked into his office and he said.” Jennifer sit down please.”  So Jennifer sat down and asked him,” Why am I here?”  He said to her,” Well some girls said that they smelt you and you smelled like weed and then some girls have said they saw you go into the bathroom and smoke up. Is that true?”  She replied, “um ah yes I was but there were two other girls with me never mind I was mistaking there was only me.” He said, “Jennifer you know the consequences for this behavior upon this school grounds I will have to suspend you from school for at least 5 days and I will inform your mother of this also.”  Jennifer nodded and said, “Are you going to call her now or after I leave.”  He said, “Right now so I can have you and her both here so just stay put for a second alright. She just sat back and thought to herself for awhile. He was on the phone and it was ringing.  “Hello, I have Jennifer in the office and I would like to have you come down here because of the misbehavior she has done I will keep her here until you arrive here.” After he got off the phone he said to Jennifer,” Your mother is on her way down here.”  Jennifer nodded again and said, “Yes sir.”  3

Her mother has arrived there.  She said to the principal, “What has my daughter done?”  He replied, “She was found having weed in her locker, smelling like it, and smoking up in the bathroom. We will have to suspend her from school for 5 days.”  Jennifer just looked really sad and had her head facing the ground and said, “I’ll go get my stuff and come right back here.”  Her mother has gone with her and she was like, “What the hell were you thinking smoking and where did you get it from?”  Jennifer turned and said to her, “Clare and Marci set me up mom, do you think I would do something that stupid on school grounds knowing I would get caught and suspended?”  her mother just looked at her and said we’ll talk about it later we need to go home right now I have supper on the table and your father will be hearing about this even though  we just got into a fight and divorce now.4
