Everything was going GREAT! The turkey was in the oven, it smelt like heaven, and mom was mashing potatoes in the kitchen. Sister Sue was opening cans of green beans for the casserole. I was super excited for Christmas today. We would open our presents soon right before dinner like every year, and I would get exactly what i wanted. 2
Dad was watching the game on tv, the Cowboys were winning. He was shouting and being all loud with Uncle Steve. They both got off of the couch and jumped up, hitting bellies. I had to laugh out loud at this. Uncle Steve heard me and he winked as my dad laughed along with me. Everything was perfect.3
Aunt Lauren walked in with my cousins Shelly and Sara. I embraced them both in a big hug. They were so cold from the outside! And little Sara had snowflakes in her hair, she looked like a miniature ice princess. She shook her hair and the little ice flakes fell all over the floor but quickly melted form the inside heat. Aunt Lauren handed me a big Santa sack full of presets and told me and Shelly to put then under the tree.4
There must have been over 30 gifts in there! Shelly and I placed big ones, and little ones under the tree. Then she leaned in and whispered "See that one wrapped in pink paper with snow flakes?" i nodded yes, "Its for you, guess what it is?" i shrugged my shoulders, "Snow man slippers!" she shrieked, me and her began bouncing up and down under the tree but stopped as everyone began to stare at us.5
Mom came in with a bunch of popcorn and some thread. We all grabbed some and began to string the popcorn through the thread. It was for our Christmas tree. It took us a long time but we finally got it all strung and began to put it on the tree. Me and Dad and uncle Steve did it together. Uncle Steve kept trying to eat the popcorn, but we finally finished.6
There was a knock at the door and mama came out from the kitchen to answer it. She had her hair pinned up in a bun and wore a cute cooking apron. She looked perfect. She pulled open the door and bam! Christmas carolers
7"Silent night
holy night....all is calm....all is bright-!" Soon everyone in my house was singing along, even little Sara. The most warming feeling came over me and tears filled my eyes. Soon the carolers had moved on and we were all back inside again.8My moms best friend Alyson arrived right on time, 8 o'clock sharp, with her son Ryan. I had always had a little thing for him
so i was super excited when i heard he was coming. He smiled at me shyly and handed me a small packaged wrapped in snowflake paper. It had a beautiful blue bow on it.9"For you!" he said smiling. Reluctantly, i opened it up as fast as my fingers would go. It was a necklace with a cross on it and sparkly jewels inside. "Its perfect." I said. Ryan pointed up and i saw a mistletoe hanging above us. He leaned in slightly and our lips met.10
My first kiss!11
My mom then called for everyone to come open there gifts under the tree. Ryan and i went our separate ways shyly. We all met under the tree and got all of our presents in a pile. I had about 15! It was so accelerating opening them all. The best gift of the night was my new mink coat and scarf and glove set. Real fur too. It was the most perfect gift ever!12
The dinner was superb! Everyone was stuffed by the end of the night. We all drank hot coco for desert with chocolate cream pie. My dad lit the fireplace and we all gathered around to hear my Aunt Lauren tell Christmas stories. The night ended with everyone staying the night in our guest rooms. I fell asleep that night thinking about how this was the most perfect Christmas Ive ever had.
i hope it works!!! and notice how the main character has issues with the word "perfect" yeah im so great *flips hair*

*stabs you with a pencil* In my family, every year something major goes wrong. Like...last year the Christmas tree fell down and all of the glass ornaments broke and glass was everywhere. Lmao.
