You find yourself on an island

Okay you are in an accident of some kind... airplane or ship wrecked. You find yourslf on an Island you have never seen before. It is a lovely island. Pleasant temperture. Lots of water. Abundance of food. No problems right.1

Well after a few days you discover this village. You think alright I am saved but you notice something isn't quite right with the village so you lay low watching them.2

Now days go by as you watch them go about there chores. Gathering supplies. Wood for the fire. Tend the gardens. Their children. Attend parties. Seems normal right.3

Well then what's not quite right with them.4

Now here's where it gets a little tricky. Figure out what you want the village to have wrong with them. Say they are all blind. Deaf. Or cannot speak.5

Then have the village find the main character who can do this particular thing. A thing that no one in the village can do.6

What do the villagers do? Do they think this person is mad? He is describing something that just can't be. No one else can do it right.7

Do they kill mentally ill people or lock them away?8

Say the village is blind and this man see's very well. Do they blind him so his madness goes away?9

Do they think him a witch and burn him at the stake?10
