She only 18 the day I saw her. So young, inicent and full of life. I asked her to come to prom with me, she agreed. We met at my place around 5:00 p.m. so that I could take her to dinner before we left.1
But we never made it prom and we never went to dinner. We ended up in a ditch somewhere outside of Halifax. When I opened my eyes, I saw her, only she was different, bloody and bruised. I felt her neck...no pulse. I felt her chest...no breaths. I closed my eyes and as a tear feel down my cheek.2
The next thing I remember is seeing her. Her long hair had turned white and she had her wings. She was sitting on a cloud, in hevan with god. She looked at me with her big blue eyes and said:3
"I am your gaurdin angel now and I will protect you from harm. Where ever you are and what ever you do, just remember I am in hevan watching over you."4
I woke up in a hospital bed, surrounded by friends and family, and some how I knew, that everything was going to be alright.

So sad in the beginning. Yet ended so well with the dead girl being a guardian angel. I do however think that this needs to have more feeling in it. I didn't feel his sadness at the loss of the girl. Or his relief of being the one to survive. Thanks for sharing this and thanks for entering it into my contest.

Very nice Amee.
Sad though, but beautifully written. And though I checked the picture after I read the story, that girl looks like the one I was picturing.
Good job, and I'm glad you're finally back on Storywrite! Keep it up hun!
