What Happened?! (Tetrad)

Amber finally got out of the floor and went to her room. She sat on her bed and stared at her mirror, still marked with the red lipstick that spelled out the words, 'I love you, Amber. You will always have my heart.'. She tried to hold back the tears that were forming inside, but when she thought of how much she loved him, they came out anyway. 2

"Why did he have to be in a wreck? Why does he have to be in the hospital?" she whispered. "Well at least he wasn't killed."3

Amber teared up again when she thought of him being killed. Would she be able to survive strongly without him?4

"I have to go see him," she thought. "I need to be by his side."5

Amber stopped crying. She just focused on the positive, and the positive was that he was still alive. In a couple months things would be pretty much back to normal, she hoped. 6

She got out his favorite blue shirt, the one he said made her look like a supermodel, and some jeans. She took them to the bathroom and started the shower. 7

After Amber got out of the shower and was fully clothe, she went and told her mom everything that had happened and where she was gonna be. She had no idea of what to expect and was happy her mom offered to go with her, even though she didn't accept. She got into her car and took off. She started out on the 30 minute drive from her house to the Elk County Hospital. She tried to stay rational and only drive under 50, but she was scared stupid and flew like a bat out of hell. 8

She finally reached the hospital after the longest 20 minute drive ever. She hurried through the front door and briskly walked to the front desk.9

"Yes?" the clerk said.10

"I'm here to see Joscelin Forte. He was in a car wreck." she declared.11

"Forte... Forte... Ah ha! Joscelin D. Forte, he's in ICU, down the hall and to the right. Can't miss it."12

"THANK YOU!" Am said, beginning to get nervous.13
